I have tried other devices similar to this in the past. I was not happy with the performance.However upon receiving this one just today and testing it out for the first time. I am very pleased with this sturdiness in the structure of the housing material. Also the video stands up to the sellers ad in the description.The other competitors out there are priced at 40 some dollars and 50 some dollars.Not to mention there are some that are charging 200 some dollars close to $300.My point is for this device I wouldn't expect to spend any less nor would I expect to spend anymore. For its performance it sets just right and its price frame.The bottom line if you're looking for something like this I highly definitely recommend this one.

I have used one of these in the past and it is by far the best of its kind, hard metal case all around, looks realistic, all the indicator lights are covered so it doesn't draw attention and the night vision is with an Ired. I have tried two others from a different brand and the indicator lights are completely visible and hard to cover up and the night vision led is a dull red, very visible and obvious. the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because this time it didn't come with a user manual and I can't remember which button does what.

When I inquired with Amazon how to return the unit for refund or replacement, the seller sent me a return label for return TO CHINA ! I explained that returning the unit to China at my own expense and risk just wasn't reasonable, I heard nothing further from MDTEK (seller) or Amazon. The only positive is that the unit did work well for a couple of months before it inexplicably died. Note that the so called instructions are a joke - almost totally non-understandable - so I had to search the internet for someone who could tell me how this thing worked. Overall, a bad experience.

A great camera for the price.

Very good quality device and the video is decent. My only issue is I cannot remove the SD card and replace it with something bigger. Other than that it works great.

I haven't had this product for very long and there has been so many shortfalls with it. Here is a review of what has happened to me. 1. No way to update or change the date and time stamp. Tried everything! 2. Very poor or non existent manual on how it operates. Had to learn by trial and error. Some parts easy to use and other were not. Long learning curve. 3. Video quality not bad was was encouraging. But now if doesn't even charge up or show any LEDS when you plug it in. Hopeless. All in all there are probably better products out there and complete waste of time and money.

After almost a year of owning this device and countless attempts to get the time/date stamp to stick, I finally figured it out. Too much info to type, but be on the lookout for how-to-video very soon, as many of you have been confused as to how to make this happen. #Finallyfigureditout!
