Rollsafe Replacement Tires for Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter M365 Mijia (Set of 2)

Well!!! Everyone is absolutely correct, these tires are EXTREMELY hard to get on. However, they are completely worth the sweat and sore hands. My concern was that these tires would eat up my battery, and make me ride slower. Guess what, its not bad at all. Let me put it this way, with tube tires, my average speed for a 4 mile trip, on city streets with several stops, is 15.3 mph. Now its 14.5mph with these tires. Now granted, i only installed the back tire but still, the difference is probably not noticable. What is noticable is acceleration, that drops but top speed remains pretty much normal. Ill keep my setup as is until the front tire goes flat, no way im going through that tough install a second time unless its absolutely necessary.TIPS FOR THE INSTALL: Put the tire in the microwave for no more than 3 minutes. Watch it carefully, make sure it doesnt start smoking or catch fire. Obviously it will be super hot so handle with an oven glove only. Next, lay the tire flat on the ground and start to work the rim inside the tire. Grab two VERY STRONG flathead screwdrivers and begin stretching the tire over the rim, be careful not to burn yourself or bend your disk brake. You will only get it on half way using this method. Once you get half way, youll need to insert the screw driver between the rim and the tire. Do this on the part of the tire that isnt mounted yet and insert it ALL the way across the rim and begin stretching the tire. Hold the screwdriver with one hand, use the other to dig under the tire and push the rim into the tire. Keep doing this until the tire is mounted. Now you need to properly seat the tire. Grab a hammer, dig your screwdriver under the tire and make sure it comes out on the otherside of the rim but without dismounting the tire. Turn your tire over and hang it a bit off the ledge so that the screwdrivers handle is dangling upside down. Take your hammer and whack the tire into place. Youre done!!

Tires are not the described dimensions. The stock pneumatic tires have a diameter of 8.5”, which is what these tires are labeled as, but these tires are actually 8”, which effectively reduces ground clearance and top speed.

I give it 4 stars becausa was really quickly, approving my expectations.The tires are smaller than the official, the extarnal diameter is 8,2" and the internal is -0,5" than the official.To put it I needed the help of 3 mechanics of my company, and near than 2h of their time.Is extremely necessary to put before the installation the tires in the microwave turning its faces (1min + 1 min + 1 min).Finally we get the objetive, but the holes of my tires do not looks like a "circles" for the pressure. The deformation is minimal but it exists.The scooter runs perfectly but I note an small waste in the velocity. If flats are your primary concern, then I highly recommend. If performance is, then avoid.Pros:No more flat tires! I got several flat tires within a couple weeks and was fed up replacing the tubes. So in that regard, these things have worked flawlessly so far.Cons:You are going to lose some speed with these things. I'm now maxing out around 13-14 mph when I was at 15-16 mph before. Not devastating, but noticeable.I've also noticed it handles a bit differently and is a bit more bumpy.Lastly, as others have mentioned, they are a pain to install. I brought them into a local bike shop install since I knew going in these would be difficult. They ended up charging me triple what they normally do because they needed special tools. It also took them about a week, when the normal turnaround is 20 minutes. So I would highly recommend having a professional install them. That said, they might be a hair too small too, which might be where this issue is coming from, but it can be done.

While I'm sure these would be great to roll on, they are nearly impossible to install. I have over a decade of bicycle maintenance experience, replacing countless tires. No amount of heating, wrangling, manipulation or swearing could get this solid tire onto the wheel. This is not a joke or to be taken lightly. While the product may be perfect, it's impossible to use, hence my one star rating.

Tires were hard to put on. Microwave in 30 second intervals until tire stretches enough to put onto the rim. *May require strength and some screwdrivers*

After weeks of struggle and ordering every tire crowbar or other installation items the tire was finally on the rim.Just when I finally feel like victory is in my reach, the wheel snaps!As many others have said, these are not the right size, no way they would ha e snapped like a rubber band had they been.

These are way to fat for the scooter. It is borderline impossible to put them on because they are so wide. As soon as you put one side on the other side pops off. Even the bike store near me just decided to use the old tire after trying to put these on. Disappointing.
