The smell is nice (if you like floral sweet smells) I can smell it on my hair even the next day, it’s like a natural perfume! I got this one because it’s supposed to be light weight like the Kroger brand dry shampoo (my ABSOLUTE favorite) and not as residue-y as Batiste dry shampoo (my least favorite). I also thought the volume bump would be nice for days where it’s greasy *and* flat! But, If you have an oily scalp with sensitive skin, this is not for you. Because it does leave residue (not as much as Batiste but more than Kroger) it interacts with my oily scalp funny and causes me to be itchy. And yes, I did it as directed, and yes I had spread it around! I got it for camping (bears and bees are near lol) so I might not take it because the scent is quite strong and lingers. I also have a feeling that in direct sun my scalp will even be more itchy. I also have a bit of sensory issues so if the slight itchiness doesn’t bother you, then yay! As for the volume, it adds a bit more texture to your hair but that’s it. Dry shampoo naturally acts as a volumizer for me so this doesn’t appear much different, it’s almost like I added a little hair spray to the dry shampoo-even the texture. It also leaves that white cast that so many do.
