Works great and doesn’t give off the intense smell of dry shampoo that I find batiste does. It smells lovely, and works relatively well. Extends my hair wash cycle about a day.

I've tried most of the dry shampoos under the sun, especially the ones in the mid-luxery category like LP, Oribe, and Amika. While a few of them are quite good, NOTHING beats this dove one. It's extremely lightwight, the mist applicator is very even and responsive, and it deposits a ton of product on your hair and adds lift and volume after just a few short sprays. At the same time, it's really hard to overdo it. This formula is perfect, and nothing I've tried beats it.

When I first used this I found it over powering in every way, very disappointed. It has a super strong smell, makes a big white cloud, and definitely leaves a film of white residue on your hair.... However, since I bought this multi-pack and didn't want to return it I continued to try to use it. After using it, my husband told me two times that I smelled nice (this man doesn't give compliments). So while I find the smell very strong, its not a bad smell... I spray it holding my breath, and run out of the room so I don't huff in the white cloud of dry shampoo fragrance. Also, I was able to use a lot less than I initially used. Maybe even half of what I use with the "Not your mother's" brand. That cut back on some residue and with some serious tousling or even combing, the white residue blends in ok. Again, I still find the white residue more than others but I also sometimes use a dish cloth to rub it in as well which really gets the whiteness gone. Lastly I LOVE the volume it gives... as someone who also uses dry texturizer at times, I find this works nice for the roots/upper hair area to have that kick of volume but without feeling like its "hairsprayed". Needless to say, I'm glad I kept it. The only thing I would really change is the smell - it doesn't need to be so strong.

To my surprise, this is a pretty decent product while not being super expensive. It leaves no white residue, just push around with your hand or tissue a bit. It gives some volume. Hair came out looking nice.
