Works great, charges and plays music at the same time. Sound quality seems good. My only issue is that the volume controls on the unit I received don't actually work. The play and pause button does but not the volume. A minor inconvenience that I will not go through the headache of returning to fix.

When I received it, it worked fine--gave me audio, allowed charging. All I could want.Two months later, it would not work every few days, and I'd have to keep unplugging and plugging the lightning connector to get it to work. But it would eventually. Then it started failing every time I tried to use it. Now, the audio connection just doesn't work at all.So I got two months out of it. I expected it to work, period.

Bought awhile ago so i could listen to my phone @ work. It's fine in this capacity. Audio quality is very good. However, after using this awhile I started to notice background noise while the charging jack was plugged in. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. As expected, the controls on the phones didn't work (Bose Noise cancelling ear buds.) Not surprising since I had bought the Android model of the ear buds. (Ear bud were purchased prior to getting my iPhone.)Then I got a phone call yesterday while listening to music and I was shocked to discover the mic didn't work when I picked up the call! Sorry guys, this is a deal-breaker for me. I'll be looking for a replacement very soon.

This works fine for charging through the lightning adaptor & it works fine for listening to music on earbuds through the headphone plug. It *does not* function for phone calls. Zero sound comes through on either end.Absolute waste of money for me. Extremely disappointed.

Ever since getting the iPhone 7 I've been saying how the lightening port, although great, is annoying because you can't charge and listen to music simultaneously. Finally, that problem has been resolved.
