The description is wrong, this is NOT a 'flipper' knife, you use the cutout in the blade to open it like a Spyderco .....BUT what it IS is shockingly good for the money. SHOCKINGLY good.I have a dozen or more other inexpensive knives including a good many Kershaw made in USA knives and this Kizer is----dare I say it?---BETTER than the rest?I have heard tale of Kizer QA being a bit irregular and some have got knives that werent quite up to snuff, but this one that I got is just awesome.This knife IS a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but that is my fault for not looking more closely at the dimensions. Regardless, this knife is in my EDC rotation and may become my fav.

I believe it must be one of highest quality knives you can get for the money. The modularity of the blade design and weight of it is what really sets it on fire in my opinion. The handle is very attractive material and contouring of it is just perfect for my hand. Ive had a few “nice” knives in the 500-120$ range but all have been broken one way or another. I feel like this one is better than the past kershaws and non-usa made stuff. You get what you pay for. This company rarely makes knives this cheap so get it on this quality instead wasting on other garb

Light for its size and substantial blade. Smooth tight action, no blade play, centered. Got orange because priced well but liked it enough to go back and get black when on sale. Have to say I did get a lemon on first black one I bought and had to return, but ended up getting a sweet one on next try. Kizer makes good knives but I’ve found that you will run into some significant quality control issues...at a rate of about 33%.

personally have 7 or 8 kizers in vanguard series (vg10,g10) and all came almost perfectly tuned. the kesmec is my favorite in edc rotation. orange one is way cool too. beating the you know what out of these and they are standing up to the abuse nicely. everyone that handles my kizers ends up wanting one too. if you want something smaller check out the kizer dukes, it is awesome too

I like the blade design, the opening hole, the contoured G20 handle, the cool back spacer and it has good steel.
