### ⭐ Haag's definitions of damage contradict most policy definitions

Haag defines hail damage in a very specific manner. Haag's definition of damage is more narrow than the definitions of damage as defined in most insurance policies.Every policy is different but most policies define damage somewhere along the lines of "physical injury to, destruction of, or loss of use of tangible property."In other words, any physical injury to your property falls under the definition of damage in most policies.Haag typically defines damage as, when a reduction is made to its water-shedding capability, when the shingle’s expected long-term service life is reduced, or when a fracture of the shingle’s mat occurs.Notice that these Haag definitions are more narrow than most policy definitions. If your policy allows for any physical damage, and your insurer relies on an engineering report that narrows coverage to the Haag definition, your insurer has made a mistake. The inspector or engineer made a mistake. You have been wronged.Haag's redefining policy definitions has allowed the industry to underpay claims in the amount of trillions of dollars.
