Antenna broke in 3 weeks but I used super glue and is perfect now . No other cons :)

The radio is great. I have 2 and got my friend 1. I have 2 other brand radios. Same wattage. But do not recieve as good. Would like to get others. But are not availble now..

Got a deal on this and thought I would give it a try. For the price it is an easy yes I would buy again. Have not yet tested the power output but I will update if it does not make the cut.

I have two of these radios. The description in slightly wrong as the radio transmits and receives on VHF and UHF. The power test revealed that the radio transmits very close to the 8 watts when set to the high setting in both VHF and UHF, UHF power output slightly higher that VHF. Good value for the money.
