We use magnets to retain the shells. Works on both left and right side of the body. Made out of Delrin and precision laser cut. Shells are retained firmly, but come out the caddy very smooth

Review: Beefy piece, beefy price - I like this she'll holder, I don't like the price. Magnets hold solid but the screws that hold it to the Teklock buckle, from Bladetech, tend to interfere a bit with my dummy shells makingredients practice a bit of a pain. This is over come by slightly adjusting the shell guide rails but they still hang up just a bit.
