La Rochere Set Of 6, 7.5-inch Perigord Dessert Plates

I have only had my plates now for about 2 months so cannot comment on their long-term durability that another reviewer mentioned. So far though, they are great and haven't gotten scratched or chipped in my dishwasher or with use. They are quite small and they compliment my white Williams-Sonoma dishes beautifully. I bought them because I felt that my salad plates were too big for desserts, snacks or setting out small bits of food. These fit the bill perfectly. The glass is thick and the design with the scalloped edged is simple and elegant. I bought 2 sets of 6 plates in March and am now ordering another set of 6. They get used every day in my house, both casually and as an elegant way to end a more formal meal.UPDATE: I've had these plates for a year now and LOVE them. These are really thick and have held up well to daily use and cleaning in the dishwasher. They are small, definitely not big enough to be salad plates, but I often use them for snacks, at breakfast, for side dishes and dessert.

I had them for six months now. Use them to serve fresh fruits and wash them in regular dish washer. All six of them have showed visible breakage in the glass. Cannot return them and cannot use them any more. They don't seem to be durable at all.

Love these dishes. Great for bread plates or serving dessert. Have washed in the dishwasher with no problem. Very pleased and they look beautiful. Will purchase more.

I've only had these plates for about a month but so far, they've been very sturdy. I've washed them in the dishwasher a bunch of times on the bottom rack with no issue. I originally was looking to go US-made and looking into Anchor Hocking but per my phone conversation with AH, they aren't microwave safe. I rarely use the microwave but like to have the option so I'm happy I went with La Rochere, which are both dishwasher and microwave safe.

I love these. They are very distinctive. Quietly elegant. I use them daily, not just for dessert.
