Because I didn’t pay too much for these items the the quality of the items were a little cheaply made So I can’t complain

it is so nice to have all of these in one kit. The thread comes in beautiful colors and the punch needle is my new favorite thing. I actually think it would make a great Christmas gift for beginning crafters or anyone wanting to learn a new skill.

The punch tool feels like brittle plastic and with any force might break. The knob on the tool turns but again looks cheaply designed easy to break was hesitant about using it.This craft is not as easy to do as all advertising says it is. Inadequate explanation as to what size Aida cloth for the needle. Left large hole in the material that came with kit.Was filled with many other accessories that were worth the money spent.New tool was purchased at Hobby Lobby it was a little better made and holds your thread.For me it was not what I had imagined and I love all types of crafts.

This kit came with tons of items, I thought it would be a great starter set, although I've done embroidery in the past, it's been quite a while. The magic punch needle was not easy to use or thread. It could be that the instructions weren't very clear but it's not hard to figure out. The hoops were so difficult to use and once I finally got everything set up to start embroidering, the punch needle basically did not work. I watched several instructional videos, some people were able to use it eventually but for the most part, if I had watched videos before buying, I wouldn't have bought this. I rated 3 stars because it came with so many parts that if you're patient and skilled, this might work for you. I don't believe it's good to label as a starter kit.

What a great tool to have for this kind of craft. Haven't used it yet but can't wait. Great packaging, very clear instructions, a lot of product for the price.

The items in this kit are really poorly designed and manufactured. The starter fabric that it comes with is absolutely terrible. Honestly, I can't really think of anything good to say about this product.The nut that tightens the hoops is loose so you need plyers to hold it while you tighten the hoops down. The wood used on the hoops themselves is also really poor. It feels very flimsy and fragile. There are much better kits out there, I would recommend you skip this one.

I am an experienced crafter well versed in the fiber arts.... After doing traditional embroidery for years and looking online at needle punchers, I decided to give it a try. The kit was very impressive when it arrived and I was super excited. Unfortunately, the excitement died within the first hour. For the canvas fabric they gave with the punch needle, the needle does not go in and out smoothly which means that the punch needle does not leave loops behind. Even when I tried to vary the speed and the length of the needle the embroidery thread would not stay. Undo-ing the stitches and trying again would only make the holes larger and the likelihood that any stitches would stay even smaller. VERY FRUSTRATING. Cool gift for the price, but very frustrating to work with.
