Very thoughtful features, overall perfect headlamp
I bought these because they were cheap, but they’re the best headlamps I’ve ever had!I do astrophotography, so it’s important to have two separate buttons- one for red and one for white light. Other headlamps have one button so you have to cycle through the white settings before you get to the red light, which can ruin your night vision and your photo! Also, many headlamps advertise having different modes/brightness levels, but they’re more annoying than useful because you have to press the button 5 times, cycling through all the modes, to turn it off. This product has a feature I’ve never seen before in a headlamp, which is that after a few seconds, if you don’t continue to cycle through the settings, then pushing the button makes the light turn off. That is, if I turn it on and only press it once, which is the brightest setting, then wait at least a few seconds, then when I push the button again, the light turns off. If I want to get to a different setting (there are three brightness settings plus strobe/blinking), then I press the button several times when I first turn it on, and it will stay at whatever setting I leave it at. For example, if I press the button 4 times, it will be on the strobe setting. But, if I press the button once to turn it on and then wait, then I don’t have to push the button 4 more times to turn it off. I feel like I’m not explaining that very well, but if you have experience with other cheap headlamps, hopefully this makes sense. Just believe me when I say these are well-designed and I would definitely buy them again over any other headlamps I’ve had (and I’ve had several). The light is also reasonably bright, it’s actually quite strong for the size. I don’t know about battery life because I’ve only used them for a few hours so far, across 2 camping trips, but I haven’t had to change them yet and the light is still going strong!Summary- Excellent price- 2 buttons, one each for red and white light- Special feature that allows you to turn light off without clicking through all settings- 4 settings (3 brightness levels and strobe/blinking) for white light, 2 setting (solid and blinking) for red light- Adjustable strap and adjustable angle of light- 3 AAA batteriesI would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a headlamp, and I would definitely buy them again.

Powerful flashlight and separate red light switch
I bought it because it has one white light switch and another second light switch which is useful for night light red light. Pressing the red light a second time is flashing which I do not need but can be useful. Pretty comfortable, Heathay adds another strap to the top in the center of the head and not just on the sides of the head. Bright light with lighting levels. Only the flashlight does not remember my levels and every time I have to readjust. I would like such a flashlight with a rechargeable battery.

Astrophotography
This is the perfect lamp for astrophotography. One button for red and another button for white light.

It takes a little effort to find a comfortable fit but otherwise worth the purchase.
The choice between the white light and red light with separate buttons is great. No cycling process when searching for either one. Great for night photographers who don't want to ruin others night shots as well as their own.

Really good value and performance
This is an updated version from my original purchase years ago. I use these all the time. I've back packed with it, but most of the use is around the house when I need light, but prefer to go hands free. The reason for the one star knock, is the hinge for the battery door is very weak and was the ultimate demise of my older version. It's small plastic hinges can break easily. They left that design in with the new models. It's not a big deal, but you should be aware of that before you buy it.

Difficult buttons to locate, No logic/memory built in for light selection
On headlamps in the past, I've been a huge fan of LARGE, idiot-proof buttons. The kind that you can't help but find when fumbling around in the dark. These buttons are tiny and difficult to locate/press in a pinch. Also, I've had headlamps that remember my chosen brightness when I turn it back on again. These don't have any logic or memory built in. Starting from off, you click (high brightness), click (med brightness), click (low brightness), click (blinking), click (off). If you have the light on and you're using it for a while, when you go to turn it off instead of pressing once to turn it off, you have to cycle through the remaining settings until it turns off. Would prefer if it remembered that I had been using medium brightness, turned off in one press, and when I pressed again it automatically started me at medium brightness again.Otherwise, decent headlamp for the price.

Brightens my night walks!
This is a high quality, comfortable product at a reasonable price. I live on a narrow country lane, where cars don't anticipate seeing walkers around the bend at night. Wearing this strong light helps drivers see me easily at a distance and extends the time I can be outside safely.I haven't had this headlamp long enough to know whether battery life is short, but I'm taking the recommended precaution of removing the batteries when I'm not using the lamp.

Best Headlamp I've Owned
Vitchelo's V800 is an excellent headlamp - light is bright, lots of brightness settings, very well made, headband is very comfortable and doesn't become loose overtime & separate buttons for red and white lights. Light position/angle adjusts easily without undue noise. Position of light buttons takes some getting use to and the red light button requires more effort to switch on but these are very minor issues. Bought as a set of two headlamps for great price. Plan to purchase another 1 or 2 of these V800 headlamps - just a great product. Very pleased with purchase! Head and shoulders better than my last headlamp, a Black D___ product, which cost twice as much.

Red light is bright for hunting, 3 settings on the white light
Bought these initially for hunting. The red light is plenty bright enough to navigate in the dark while hunting or during power outages without killing your night vision. The white light has 3 brightness settings. The lamp is angle adjustable and is very useful for all types of tasks where you need to shine and light and free up your hands! Glad I bought the two pack. One in my hunting gear and one in my toolbox in the garage.

Does what it says
4 white light settings - High, mid, low, flash2 red light settings - On, flashThe only thing I wish the light had was a dimmer red light setting. I fly small aircraft at night, so it is perfect to wear on your head when you don't want to lose your night vision with a white light. However, it is a little too bright so you risk blinding yourself a little bit anyways.Other than that, I've used it to fly once, and it works quite well.

Work great for the price
My son and I are in Scouts and we use these for night hikes and camping. They work great for the price we paid for them. So if you want a low cost head lamp, these will do the trick for sure.

Très pratique
Marche très bien même dans le froid, très bon rapport qualité/prix, seul défaut est qu'il est facile d'accrocher les boutons et de les allumer par accident quand vous acez votre frontale dans les poches
