Buy these all the time from amazon for our heat pump! Cheaper than having the HVAC company install for you. Does the job that it is intended to do.

Perfect fit for our Ultravation air filter box which was installed with a brand new Amana heat pump. The HVAC company who used to complete my services (they've since been blacklisted for incompetence) charges double for these, so I bought one myself from Amazon. The installation is as easy as opening the door, removing the old filter, and replacing it with the new one. Just keep an eye on the air flow arrow. I decided on using OEM because some of the aftermarket options, while cheaper, had reviews mentioning fitment issues and lack of foam strips at the top/bottom of the filter which helps ensure more dirty air is making it through and not around the filter so it can do its job.

I change the filter out twice a year in spite of the fact that it can handle more. Really controls dust in my home and keeps my allergies under control.

Does what they say it will do. When it’s to change it out within a year, change it out. Get new one. After a year of service the air flow though your unit is compromised.
