These fish gliders are made very cheaply and I could se them being sold at the dollar store. The body is Styrofoam like material and the fin is a thin plastic. HOWEVER, my 10 and 11 year old boys had a great time gliding them under the water and following them around. Literally entertained them for an afternoon in the pool. Although, disappointed in the quality of the material, I WOULD BUY AGAIN.Also, we all had no problems getting them to glide in about a 12' circle as well as in a straight line even further. Just place it under your foot at the bottom of the pool and release. It's that simple. Adjust the fin ever so slightly to make it circle or go straight. Don't know why some reviews say they are difficult to make go.

They are fun when you first get them. You just put it under water and away they go. The wings can be adjusted to make it turn in a circle or come back to you which the kids loved. But, sadly by turning the wings, the wings got bent. They barely stay under the water now. So, lasted about 30 minutes. A little pricey for that type of durability and amount of time the kids got to play with it. I guess that means I don’t recommend them. Sorry! Fun idea but waste of money.

Does not work as described!

We were pleasantly surprised with these little toys. It is rare for something to function as well as described, but these do. My kids (and myself) have had a lot of fun playing with them in our pool. I had been looking for an interesting non-diving toy for my youngest who doesn't swim underwater yet. These are different from anything else we have found, and were an instant favorite.I witheld the final star on durability simply because we have not had them for long and I don't know how well they will last. They have held up to a week of pool play so far.Edit: these fun toys lasted about 5 weeks. The hard plastic wings all became brittle and broke on both toys on the same day. Even with th lasting less time than we would like, I was ready to repurchase because of how much my kids enjoyed them. However, we stumbled upon them in our local Dollar Tree store and we're able to purchase them for $1 each rather than the higher price here. The dollar store toys are slightly larger and the wings are attached in two places instead of one, making them seem a bit more durable. I still recommend these, but perhaps you might want to shop around to see if you can find a better price.

You push it down to the bottom of the pool with your foot and let go and it rises up in a spiral. Does not go straight, extremely slow

Seller was very easy to deal with and was quick to agree to a refund.The picture made me believe the items would come in a box so the items were a little more substantial. Paying $40 I thought (and maybe I was wrong to assume) that they were 2 battery operated swimming fish or something.When I received the item the package was more like a hang on a hook kind of slim package. The package was damaged and it just looked like something you'd buy in a dollar store.

Disappointed as these don’t glide well at all.
