I recently moved near a freeway (about 250ft away from it). I like to sleep with a window open but can’t do that here. The times I’ve tried to sleep with a window open, I woke up with sore throats, brain fog, etc. I think I was getting a build up of CO2 and other air pollutants in my house from not opening windows.After using this screen, I was surprised at how well it works. I’ve been leaving my windows open with the screens in (I bought two to place at opposite ends of my house) and I can say it really does work. I don’t feel sick leaving the windows with the screens in.Additionally, this is also when we’re having really bad air quality from fires in Northern California.First time I’m really thankful for a product

Might be useful if used in a large window, but I found the 10inch high to not allow much airflow. Even with a window fan in front of the window screen, hardly any air was coming through. Also the slider mechanism is not flush on the top, so the window won’t close flush over it, and there’s no built in sealer like on cheaper screens so there was a large gap where the window frame meets screen. As much as I wanted to keep these, I returned them. Maybe in a larger screen window you’d get enough airflow to be noticeable.

This product in the picture looks a lot more fitting in comparison to an actual window. My guess is the photo was even photoshopped or that window is meant for Shaq to be so big. I also had to fully seal the screen with some masking tape up top because it had little crevices that were still open. I had it completely sealed and I still had horrible itchy eyes as if the pollen still got in. Defective. Also the company ignores you when you question them why they're charging you for a return of a defective item.

A but expensive vs other similar products but it looks and feels like a sturdy well made quality product. We are on the 8th floor of a busy street and a lot of dust and soot gets in our apartment when we leave the windows open. After installing windowsill is much cleaner while providing a nice breeze and fresh air.

This window screen does a great job of keeping out pollen. I am very impressed at its effectiveness. You won’t get as much of a breeze through it, but I didn’t care about that. I bought it to get some exchange of air in my house, without have city air coming in.
