Nice radio, good value, 10&12M
Excellent radio that seems to work well. Be aware that mine didn't come with the UK 40 channels programmed - you'll need a cable and software.My only query is to whether the radio really puts out the advertised wattage, it only seems to pull 8A on full power, if only I had my old power meter! Can anyone confirm their power output for a recent purchase from the same seller?Covers 10 and 11 metre bands well, so great value for enthusiasts who intend to become amateurs.My only gripe is the classifier is a click switch, but quite honestly it's still ready to tune and works well, guess I'm just old school!

It’s ok when I got it I had to get it Programmed to the UK stations which is very disappointing as they know where it’s going why can’t they just program it for you

No external connection for programming
A great radio but the connection for the programming lead is inside of the radio, so when you open it up you invalidate the warranty. Shame.

More suitable for an experienced person.
This is not a cb. It needs to be programmed to work on the uk 40 channels. Bit complex for me. There are frequencies on there that is illegal to transmit on without a licence. More suitable for an experienced person

10 meter he radio.
Good radio at a good price, very configurable if you get the programming software and cable. Take note this radio comes setup for the 10 meter amateur band and you need a licence to transmit on this band.

VFM and sturdy. Received and transmits well.
Great radio. But he aware it doesn't have the 40 channels on FM for use with CB. Great radio though. Great on AM and SSB. Great 10 meter radio for dxin g and local contacts providing a good antenna is used. Great VFM.
