Review: AWESOME..with minor annoyances - This is one awesome chunk of metal...looks, feels and fires SOOO much more realistic than the ancient, plastic (light as a cheap bal-point pen) Daisy BB gun that I was using. This thing eats co2..due to the blowblack..but it is worth it. Only 2 pieces on this gun are plastic, the grips and the screw on the bottom of the clip that holds in the co2 can. Only have a few minor annoyances... The slide release switch is very flat against the gun and hard to engage, can't press it with out moving my thumb and gun to an odd angle...so can't release it while hand in normal firing stance. The tail under the hammer...it is too big and long...I can't get my thumb over it to move or cock the hammer...instead, I have to bend my thumb around the side of it..and I do have big hands.. I do like the design of the co2 and bb's in the clip, but the cap screw that holds in the co2 can is plastic and is hard to get to screw back in. It took me several minutes till I found the exact angle it takes to finally catch on the threads and screw in. This is a plastic cap with plastic threads, screwing in to a metal threaded hole...with all my fumbling to get it to catch and screw in, I definitely damaged the plastic threads on the cap..now I know why they included a second one...The clip it self is really heavy metal...but they seriously went cheap when it comes to the cap..no reason they could have used a metal one..I would say this is the weakest part of the whole gun and probably the first if only thing to break on it... especially if constantly changing the co2. Overall, this gun is a blast to fire.. literally..louder than I expected too. I purchased a tac light to put on it: Nebo ProTec Elite HP190 High-Powered Firearm Light However, the mounting design of the tac light.. doesn't really fit too well. It won't fit all the way back as the trigger guard on this gun is quite wide. The light actually fell off at first. I got it hooked on the first section, screwed tight the screws..but although the this tac light is metal, the part to which the screws actually screw into is plastic..so yep..I over tightened them(because it kept falling off after being fired) and stripped the threads..so..only one side tightens up..barely....but it is staying on the gun..nice and bright..shine this at someone and there is no way that they will be able to identify that I am pointing a bb gun at them and not a real gun. It was a cheap add-on... probably get a better one later.
Review: WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT! - For me air guns/gunning is all about the replication and operating features, all with one goal -- if the real thing is in your hands you ain't gonna miss! I love this damn gun to the point of being 'fanatical'! I've have (5) in the last 4 years. (2) were defective and (3) I made defective by REALLY poking in on the innerds.Let's establish what model I'm talking about as there are 2 for the P226 X-Five, The one pictured is plain ol' X-Five with a 6" barrel, fixed sights and weighs slightly less then the 8" barreled X-5 open combo. Not only do you have adjustable sights on the open but for $10 more then the X-5's price you get an all metal tatical rail for your accessories. A damned good deal! Being as I owned (2) X-5 OPENS I slipped the tactical rail off and and used it on this X-5. Fits like a glove. This X-5 is smaller than the wider and longer OPEN which is a large gun. Adding a quality red dot with laser on the bottom presents a tight little package that is fantastic. You can purchase a tactical rail on line- many styles- I pefer metal over plastic. In my opinion the fixed sights are just that-fixed. The rail is definately worth it. This piece is all metal except for the grips. Has a drop out all metal magazine. This wepon definately has the heft, action, and is so dead on close to the real thing that it is THE gun to own if you want to adapt to a fire arm and be damn efficiant in it's use! I forgot accuracury- this is no bull- 2" groupings at 60 feet! Have never handled anything that is more accurate then the SIG. Red Dot of course, fixed sights are very inflexable. Being I've used these over 4 yrs, here's a few tips. Forget the pell gun oil! I found over time it starts to 'gum-up' the works. Only use silicon oil, WD-40 Silicone Lubricant or comperable desertcart states this on the web page for this gun. When you take the barrel assembly off for cleaning s-t-r-e-t-c-h- the barrel spring- it's gonna really increase your blow back. While that assembly is off I've found that quality graphite is great for lubing the tracks used in the blowback action. Load ONLY the amount of BB's the magazine is rated to hold! The mag is the most 'tempermental' part of this gun. Considering all the guns out there in the air/Co2 catagory this is one of the rare few that you can literaly take the whole damn gun apart-for those future gunsmiths out there. YOUR GONNA LOVE THIS GUN !!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun to shoot and hold.
*by C***E on April 19, 2015*

I had bought the beretta elite II from a local store and it had more power and weighed 1lb. 9oz. It had a long trigger pull and was not that much fun to shoot. Took it back. Did some research and found this for a great price. What a difference. So realistic in its form and function. Recoil is about what I would guess a .22 rimfire pistol would give for this weight of gun. Maybe a little less. Weight is 2lb. 10oz. with the co2 installed and a few bb's. Now this is fun to shoot. Even though this Sig uses twice or more of co2 for the same number of rounds shot and has lower velocity it is well worth it for the shooting experience. Even came with about 250 quality bb's. Now for the bad. The bottom of the grips has a 1 mm gap that could not be fixed by tightening the grip screws. The grip screws where pretty loose. By tightening one of the grip screws was too long and put a big scrap on the magazine and was holding it up. So had to unscrew and leave them looser than what I would prefere. The only other flaw I could find is the safety will not engage on the right hand side of the gun unless it is already caulked. It will disengage from either side just fine. I highly recommend this fine air pistol. Update May 28, 2015. I have had my Sig less than 60 days. I only shot 27 rounds then just kept it on my desk for about four weeks. One day I was sitting at my desk and here a hissing then a pop. The magazine seems to have blown a seal. Did I cause this myself by leaving a partially charged CO2 in the gun too long? I don't know. As far as I know the CO2 can be left in the magazine indefinitely, but now I am unsure. Yes I did use pellgun oil on top of the CO2 and on the side of the magazine. Other reviewers have had many magazine problems as well it seems. No problem from follow up co2, I just use it all before I put the gun away. The owners manual needs to be more specific on whether pellgun oil can be used and exactly what type of lubrication to use for the slide and other parts instead of relying on the vendors recommendation. You tubes videos have shown some very different lubes other than silicone oil such as lithium grease or even graphite on the slide. I'm left guessing how to best lubricate it. Funny thing is I'm almost happy with this piece not shooting anything because of the feel, realism and everyone's Ahhh when they see it. This is very nice to look at and hold. As far as the gun itself, the only things I can think of that the manufacturer could improve is to tone down or eliminate the white warning lettering on the slide that I covered with dull electrical tape. Take away the safety to be replaced by a decalking lever but then It would not be true to a real x-five but be a regular p226. I now reduce it to four stars instead of five because of the magazine and lack of instructions in the manual to keep this gun lubed properly. I did get this on sale for 85.99 with free shipping. Some of the best money I have ever spent. Everyone has something to say about this pistol when they see it. I will update again when I get a chance to try to shoot the Sig P226 some more and remember to come back here. Good luck fellow air gunners. 8-16-15 The slide got stuck to the rear slightly beyond the slide catch in the middle of the notch when I raked the slide back. Tried my best for a long while many times to repair this. Internet provided no repair results. I would have been happy not shooting anything. Not even good as a training weapon now. I don't know why I'm leaving all the stars, probably because I liked this Sig so much. Only shot 2 co2's and less than 100 bb's in it's short loved life. The KWC website or Cybergun was of any help for repair or warranty beyond the sellers 30 day warranty. I sure hope to one day find a way to get it repaired. It's mostly been in it's holster since I bought it 4 months ago. Please comment if you anyone might have any suggestions. Thanks. 8-20-15 So I did take it to a gun store and it didn't take the owner 30 seconds to figure out what the problem was free of charge. A little piece of metal pushed up from below, very slightly catching the slide so not to not close. I had poked around in there with a small screwdriver but evidently did not push hard enough. I now know what to do in case this ever happens again. I have included picture #2 to where to push, that might be hard to see but hope you get the idea. I hope this helps someone out that encounters this same rare problem. I'm so happy she's operational again. I'm going to actually shoot some now, which I didn't do much of before. Sorry if this has turned into a self administered blog. I hope I don't have to come back to write any more.
