TumbleWear Big Girl's Sophia Midnight Mystique Leotard

Purchased several of these for my daughter for Christmas. She typically likes / wants the more expensive name brand leo's (GK Elite / professional gymnast lines) so I was worried about the fit and her getting past the lack of the name brand. She also usually purchases Adult Small's so took a chance on going with the teen sizes.Surprisingly, they looked and fit great! They looked a little big when I took them out of the package, but she's a petite teen gymnast who's still growing so they fit perfectly! She was pleased and I was even more pleased because they were about half the costs of the others she wanted with the name brand!!

Got for my 8 year old who is about 58 pounds and does cheer-tumbling. She is a 7/8 in clothing lines like Gap and Old Navy. I ordered a 10/12 because I wanted her to be able to wear it for more than a season. This material does stretch and it looks nice but it is a bit scratchy & stiff and the suit doesn't give as much backside coverage as one would want for an 8 year old. My girl is constantly having to pull it out of her rear end - AKA "wedgie." She describes it as feeling "dry" and says it feels uncomfortable to her when she gets sweaty. She has now opted for shorts instead of this so this headed to one of the 6 year olds we know. I think it was a waste of money.

Same as the shorts, very good quality and pretty, but just too small. She could have worn it and the shorts, but they are about the size of her old leotard, no room to grow. She wears street clothes size 10-12 and this 12-14 size was the equivalent. We like them enough to just return for a larger size, so that is what we will do. We must say that being made in the USA is a BIG plus for us!

My daughter had this leotard (in a different color) in size 12-14, and I recently bought a new one for her in size 14-16). She is 4ft 8 inches tall, athletic gymnast built. Currently both leotards fit, the smaller one with more stretch. She loves them, they are very comfortable. And they hold up to wear really well. She's in gymnastics 4-5 days a week, depending on the season, and the old leotard that she's had for over 2 years has held up really well to weekly washes.I would definitely recommend it.

My daughter is between children's and adult sizes, so this fit a little big around the waist. She is tall and skinny. Probably an adult XS would probably fit her better. But it is still a cute leotard and a pretty good price. We received it on time.

I was worried this wouldn't fit my 11 year old, she is very picky and getting curves she is insecure about. So I was surprised when she came home, tried it on and came out of the restroom with a smile on her face and walked over to give me a hug and say thanks. =). It fit perfectly and it looks even better in person.

I purchased this for my young sister (for her gymnastics camp) and she loves this leo -- from the color to the fit. We took the advice of the other reviewers/buyers and purchased one to two sizes up. If we hadn't, the leo would not have fit as well.

My daughter loves this leotard. I ordered the size 10-12, but it was too small. She is average height and weight. She loved the material and the overall feel is great. I will order the next size up.
