I purchased this for the summer time and sitting around the pool, something easy I can fold and put away since the pool is at my neighbors.It says that it is quick and easy to assemble. True, but I would say it is more simple than it is easy. There aren't any instructions but it's again SIMPLE to figure, however it requires some serious muscle strength to get those pieces in so it locks correctly.THe chair is very sturdy and of great quality. The fabric is a thick canvas and does not feel thin or flimsy as I found with other out door chairs. I love that it has feet for the out doors you can easily pop on.Part of the chair is made of a breathable mesh, which is extremely nice when you're living in the Texas heat.The only reason why I did not give this 5 stars is because it is LOW. While an adult can fit in the chair, if you're not use to be low to the ground or wanted something not so relaxed, this would be an adjustment. I'm 4'9" and I felt comfortable but a little like I was in a kids chair, my husband who is 6'1" was not comfortable at all and same for my MIL who is pretty tall as well. My kids though, they fit comfortable and honestly it seemed like it was made for them.

I had the opportunity to assemble and use the chair today. It is relatively easy to assemble; it requires a bit of strength to pull the fabric over the rods. There are two sets of feet, a regular set, and a larger set to use on sand so you don't sink. They are not really held on with anything, they don't screw on and they're not super snug, so they fall off. I was putting mine away and found two missing so had to retrace my steps and search. I found them but you may not be so lucky.If you sit still in the chair you will be fine. If you turn to reach for something at your side you will feel the seat structure become unstable. It's not a good feeling. For reference I'm 160 lbs.The corners that hold the rods are nominally reinforced but after the first time use I could see they were beginning to cut through. Nothing failed first time out but I'm not sure how many seasons you might expect from them.I have two closing thoughts: The chair's compact characteristics are you would buy this, as you're putting it in a pannier or backpack. If you have room in your vehicle for a more substantial chair, I would go that route. I would think of this as a hiker or biker chair, not a camping chair per se.My final thought is they seem expensive for what they are.The $7.99 folding chair you see at the grocery store is more comfortable and stable. This feels like it's worth $19.99 - not $59.99. If you can't carry a better chair because of space, size, or weight, this is one of few options.

There are only two things I don't like about this chair:1. It is kind of a challenge to fit everything in the bag provided. The back should be about 20% bigger. (wider)2. Kind of related to item 1, the wide feet, which don't let it sink into the sand or soft ground, have to be taken off the legs in order for it to fit in the provided bag. This makes it kind of a hassle for a beach chair.3. The seating position is more upright than I was expecting. in the chair like this. When it's close to the ground, I want to be leaning back just a little bit so the wait is not all on my butt. But this chair is actually pretty upright.That said, I would buy it again. There don't seem to be any other gold-down chairs that are in a fair price range but also have such great quality and compactness.

This chair is surprisingly comfortable... I seriously mean that... After a long day of riding on my Motorcycle and I stop to make a coffee or settle in for the night... this chair is a welcome place to plant my beat up carcase. It is equally surprisingly strong.. I weigh 230 lbs and I was naturally hesitant at first to try it for fear I'd bust it up... But I can tell you, this is a well built little chair and handles my weight without issue... Of course I don't just plop myself into it... I do sit down into it easy... but once I'm in it, I can move around to find that perfect position without fear of busting it. In addition, this company included a set of large feet designed for this chair for free in case you're setting up in soft soil of sand... I noticed some of the other companies selling similar chairs either charged extra for them or didn't offer them at all. These chairs pack up very small too... I keep 2 in my saddlebags on my motorcycle for my wife and myself... Now we can ride somewhere and enjoy the sunset in comfort.... sipping a cup of coffee

Interestingly I along with other friends am finding that sofas and easy chairs are not so great for posture. More and more I’ve been sitting on the floor in a yoga position to read. But this little chair has changed that. I use it at home as exclusive comfort seating. Basically I can see it is now my sidekick and an important asset to my comfort and health.I’ve had it two days now and already another friend has ordered one. Thank you for such a great product that so beautifully combines form and function!
