GEL REFILL FOR TRI ELECTRONICS GXL-24 PRO GOLD TESTER

I am pleased with my purchase and I definitely give both the product and the seller a full 5 stars.This gel refill was shipped very fast and securely. The price was competitive and most importantly, the product works! I was able to refill my tester pen and get consistent results. I have actually been acid testing gold for a few years now and even though I would try to be careful I usually somehow got the acid on my hands without knowing... until feeling the itch. I would keep a little bottle of baking soda and water on my desk because this happened so much that I needed to have a fast option for neutralizing the acid. But it always leaves the yellow marks. Plus with acid, sometimes the fumes would bother me. So that's why I got my tri-electronis gold tester. When using this gel to test, it eliminated the fumes factor and I hardly ever get it on my hands. And when I do, I know it's there and it doesn't itch, I still use my baking soda/water bottle just in case but it never leaves yellow marks. It so freeing! No more nicotene looking hands! The other awesome benefit of this method of testing is that it tells the gold karats from 18K - 24K. Whereas before when I was acid testing, once it got to 18K that was as far as I could really test confidently. Obviously you need the tri electronics gold tester to use this gel which is purchased separately and is definitely a chunk of change; but certainly for me it is worth the price. And these gel refills are cheap enough to keep it going without breaking the bank.

I wanted to test some gold and I was able to do it but this tube did not work properly.The piston went all the way down and did not dispense. I backed it out and some gel came out the back. I put that in place repeating this a few times simulatind teh set up procedure and got readings I beleive. The gel worked but the dispenser did not.

I'm very pleased with the customer service I've experienced with TRI Electronics. I bought 2 Gel refill for GXL-24 PRO gold tester and unfortunately it was misplaced during the delivery process. The representative filed a report to the shipping company to investigate the matter, once it was concluded that the package went missing, TRI electronics replaced my items with no charge and secured delivery! Outstanding! I highly recommend this business.

it was substandard it broke and was ruined!!!!!!i only got to use it for a week and it broke!!!!! not a good product at all!!! dont use these people!!!!

I am lucky that I picked the right gel. It works perfectly. The shipper sent it very fast. I am completely happy with this purchase.

Ive used different testers and this one in specific is not as accurate and you have to cut/scratch sorta deep on the gold in order for the acid to go in to test if its not plated. Damages the piece while doing this. Acid stains clothes! and also if it touches to much your skin will also stain it.

I have ordered this product many times before and it has always been very reliable. I had gold parties lined up and was running low on gel. As always my product arrived on time and in good condition just in time to save my tail.Thanks!Shelly
