We used this for a bit of an odd situation. We bought a ukalele for my 2.5 year old as his 'guitar.' But he wanted a strap. Well shoot.Luckily I found this!Biggest issue- the directions are TERRIBLE. I have a masters degree and it took me fifteen minutes to figure it out. When in reality all you are doing is sticking a round piece that has holes in it on one side and tying a piece of leather to the other. Not hard. But honestly the directions were almost two full pages and a few blurry pictures.Other than that seems to work well.

Sounded Good On Paper
I like this thing. but I can't use it. once the case arrived, I discovered that, the internal contours were so form fitting, there would not be enough room for the instrument had i attached the "bracket" to the uke. i'll be able to fashion something with the strap. which is a well crafted and substantial item in it's own right!

Husband loves his strap.
My husband needed this ukeloop for his ukulele. HonuPicks gives you a detailed installation instructions with your ukeloop or you can go to their web site at HonuPicks.com for video instructions (we suggest you watch the video). It can be used for all kinds of ukulele's and they do show you different ways for installation depending on what type you have. The biggest thing about installing this strap is to find the balance point of your ukulele so again we suggest you watch the video on their web site or it's a big possibility that you'll install it incorrectly and the adhesive pad is PERMANENT! And as you can see on the photo because my husband's ukulele neck is longer, he had to install his a different way. The strap is adjustable from 27"-45". It is very well made, comfortable, and my husband says it has helped him a lot! He has looked at several others and he says the others looked cheap. It's a great tool for anyone who loves to play a ukulele. (I am getting him a Honupick for Christmas!) Great company with great products and detailed web site video tutorials! Aloha!

Loved it at first until the tiny piece of plastic that holds the strap in place went "Sprong!" and popped off broken. Darn. Now it won't stay in set adjustment. $15.00May or may not happen to you.

Best uke strap ever
I finally have a strap that works for me!!!! I am a short curvy woman and could not find a way to stand and play my ukulele comfortably. The best I found was a strap that attaches to the neck of the uke and then goes across your neck and has an arm loop for your opposite arm. So I went to Guitar Center to have a strap button put on. They said the wood was too thin for a button and recommended a neck strap. The guitar neck strap was too wide and extremely uncomfortable. I went home thinking about using Velcro to attach a thin ukulele strap instead of the strap button. Thank goodness HonuPicks had a much better idea. I love the stick-on plate that solves the problem. I put the plate on the end. The strap is super comfortable, but I still didn't like it around my neck. Great to have a flexible system. I set it up like a guitar strap system and now I can play standing up.

Hanging a ukulele from your neck while moving about is THE BEST
I think this is a great idea to have a secure way of moving around with your ukulele and not worrying that it will fall. The neck strap can be adjusted to longer or shorter. The shorter may not be short enough though. I have mine as tight as it can be and I'd like it a bit shorter. I think I'll shorten the strap for me. I hope that if I ever have to remove the loop from my ukulele that it won't leave a mark. I felt I would take that chance. I am enjoying this product and the quality of it is really nice. I'd recommend it to anyone who was thinking about it.

Two Stars For Me - Maybe Five for You...
This is a high quality product that is better balanced and more comfortable than most of the strap or leash systems currently available. Why the two stars then? Well, the UkeLoop support plate is attached to your ukulele via a double stick foam PERMANENT tape. That's right, once it's on, "it's a done deal" as stated by Dan Moreau, founder of the UkeLoop Strap System. It's NOT meant to come off unless you want to damage the surface of your ukulele. Dan Moreau is honest enough to point this out in his UkeLoop video on YouTube and I think that's pretty cool of him. For someone who has a uke that they know they will never sell or perhaps a uke that isn't expensive to begin with, the UkeLoop can be a dream. For someone like me however, who will eventually sell my ukulele when I get better at playing to help buy another, this is a deal killer. My rating of two stars only reflects the UkeLoop in relation to my needs, but for a lot of ukers this will be an easy five star product.

Nice setup, very adjustable. And no holes drilled into your instrument!
No need to drill holes in your instrument in order to attach a strap. This setup uses a round metal plate that is attached by double sided sticky tape, something similar to the command stick and pull tape strips.Once the round plate is attached to the back of the ukulele you have 3 different strap attachment spots to use.The plate sticks out from the edge of the ukulele about 1/4 of an inch but still fits in my very snug ukulele soft case. A very snug hard case might be a diffent matter though.I am not fond of using a metal carabiner to attach the strap to the plate so will trade that out for a plastic dual carabiner in an attempt to not scratch my instrument.Overall I really like this system. I am using it with a concert sized ukulele and it makes playing just that much easier because you have more freedom to use your arms and stay relaxed while playing.
