made several brass and aluminum replacements and these are really good......use a piece of gorilla tape on both sides ( on tarps) do not oversize the hole and they will outlast the originals!

Very easu to use once hole is cut to fit socket (Male) side...

These do not securely grab and easily come apart once snapped together. We returned the packages we didn't open because we can't use these. We don't feel they will standup to outdoor wear and tear.
