I absolutely love this basket. It is very well built and it will hold your dog securely and safely by clipping a harness to it. My little 8 lb Shih tzu gets really excited and squirmy sometimes on bike rides, so his safety is my biggest concern and he is very safe and secure in this basket. He tried to jump out and chase a cat and he was held very secure with the straps--you can adjust the straps to be super secure or looser to give them a little wiggle room.This pet carrier is more expensive then some that are available but it is well worth the money.* I don't believe this basket would work well for dogs bigger than 10 LB or extra long/extra tall dogs so make sure you order the bigger size if you have a bigger dog. Also---This pet carrier may not fit your bike--it doesn't fit on my husbands road bike or my teen's bike, so make sure to measure your bike to ensure it meets the specifications that are given. My bike is a beach cruiser style bike with wide handle bars and it works perfectly.

We have two of these baskets and they are great. We have the larger basket for our 12 yo Coton Du Tulear (13 lbs) and the smaller one for our Teddy Bear puppy (9lbs) - see pics. The safety factor was a big seller for us and we couldn’t be happier with the harness for the dogs as well as the basket locking mechanism. Both dogs love going for rides. We also like the ease of removing the baskets for rides without the dogs. The customer service is also excellent. I’ve called a couple of times with questions and the owner was extremely helpful. I would recommend these baskets to anyone in search of a safe, easy way to take your pups on a bike ride!

This basket is the absolute best. It takes less than 5 minutes to install the bracket. The basket is sturdy and quickly attaches and detached to/from the bracket. I have an 8 lb Maltese and he fits great in the he standard size. I’ve had him in a basket on the back, and he much prefers being in front. This is the sturdiest dog bike basket I have found. You won’t go wrong with this dog bike basket.

We loved this basket so well we bought another one for our winter home. Yes, it is pricey but I feel it is worth it. It is easy to install and seems to be very sturdy. We carry 2 Yorkie Terriers in it that weight about 7-8 lbs. each. I have color coordinated them to fit the color of the wife's bikes. They look classy too and have received many compliments. Btw...we like the reflective areas on the basket.

It is a great sturdy dog basket, much sturdier than my previous one, but not as roomy. There is 1 part I don't like, there is a piece where the basket handle is attached that sticks up right between where my dog likes to put her front paws. I'm worried it could hurt if we had to stop suddenly. I'm working on coming up with some sort of padding for that particular issue. That is why I only rated it a 4 star. All in all, I am very pleased with it.

Very sturdy for my 9 lbs mulipoo. It was lined with fabric so it made it comfortable and it was not to deep so she can see out of. Love how easy it was to install and I used one of the latches as a leash for safety. The best feature is it's easy to remove. I would highly recommend this ok one.

WARNING if you purchase and want to return for the larger one be prepared to lose money as they will charge a 20% restocking fee. I never even took the plastic off and I returned with in 48 hours. It is smaller on the inside then what I built from the measurements said on the inside so my dog who is TINY (5lb) had a bit of issue turning around. The color was beautiful though. Not sure on install cause my little one wanted more room.

This product it really high quality. I consider myself a quality snob and I don’t like to waste money on cheap products. We bought this for our 12 lb Shih Tzu dog it is very sturdy and mounts to the bike easy. Our dog is snug snd safe for bike riding.

Shipping was extremely fast (less than a week to Canada) and my dog loves it. I'm enjoying my bike rides more now that I can take my furbaby with me. The side pockets for a bottle of water and cell phone are very handy and the tether gives me peace of mind that she's secure and can't jump or fall out! The basket attaches securely and is easily attached or removed. When the basket is removed the bracket is barely noticeable. I would highly recommend this to dog lovers that want to share the joy of biking with their pet! It was a bit pricey but good a product.

Perfect. Easy to install and we are able to harness our 5 lb York easily in the basket. She feels like a big shot when we go for our bike rides.
