HARD wax. Small. Little Scent. 100% useful.
I have used many products that are marketed specifically for mustache styling, but most end up being little better than petroleum jelly. I don't care how fancy your wax is, if you have mixed it with a good amount of petroleum jelly its little better than Vaseline. (And holds about the same.) I have found some products that to a bit better and are closer to a hair gel or the like. They "dry" and provide a bit better hold than the easy to apply wax stuff. Just like hairspray, as soon as the hold is broken it is almost non-existent. With mustache hairs courser and shorter, this means my stache looks good up to about the first time i eat, drink, or wipe my nose. This product is different. First, realize it is HARD. I appreciated the emailed instructions that said to use the back of your thumbnail to scrape some off as this is the only way to get it out. You can attempt to soften it by keeping it in your pocket or running under water (and i appreciate they have made the labels waterproof for this reason) but it doesn't soften much. I'm still using my nail to scrape off a bit after carrying it around all day if i need a touch up. Don't let this scare you off of the product. I think every other manufacture solicited feedback on "how to improve" their product, added something to make it softer, and ruined its usefulness as a result. The container is much smaller than i had envisioned, (think silver dollar or so) but after using it for more than a week i suspect is enough to last many months. You end up using so little!Smells like... wax. Wouldn't mind a bit of a sent, but its no matter. I don't normally choose hair products for their smell.I would absolutely order it again.

Very strong wax, works great!
This stuff is awesome. As anyone who's grown their mustache out knows, one of the most frustrating things is trying to keep the hairs out of your mouth until they get long enough to comb out. I bought both the primary and the secondary and I've now stuck to using this one. I don't fashion my stache into a point, I like the more relaxed look. This stuff is very hard, and if you don't know how to work with it, you will hate it. What I do to use it is I use a blow dryer on high to heat it up. I take the top off and heat the product directly. I find that faster than trying to soak it in hot water. About a minute or two and then I can easily scrape it off with my fingernail. I then rub it between my fingers than work it into my stache from the center outward. Once I get it all in there, I then again use the blow dryer and this time on low. I heat one half of my stache then use my folding moustache comb to work it through to the end. Then repeat the other side. It really works well, specially on those shorter hairs right above the lip that want to go straight down into your mouth. If it seems expensive, I will say it lasts a long time. Smells nice too, but not too strong. Can't smell it for very long. I made the mistake of trying a different brand that claimed to be strong and it was about like the primary version of this wax.

Fixed: How to use this wax!
So, it took me about two weeks of fiddling to figure out how to use this wax properly. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned this stuff is extremely hard, it feels like a puck of pure beeswax and I could not get it to soften at all in my pocket or using hot water. So, let me give you a run through of the various methods and pitfalls I went through myself (tl;dr at the bottom). The first thing I, of course, tried was vigorously rubbing it with my finger to try and create a bit of friction heat, this was utterly futile as the wax merely laughed off my apparently feeble attempt to soften its hard exterior. I did get a very thin film of wax residue on the pad of my finger, but nothing that could be used with any effect to tame the bristles of my 'stache.Next, we have a heat lamp in the ceiling of our bathroom where I groom myself, so I tried to perch myself precariously on the lid of the toilet and lean out to get the wax canister near enough to soften or melt a little. This almost worked save for the fact that it burned my fingers before I it was sufficiently softened and warmed.Bound and determined to gain all the marvelous holding satisfaction that this wax could offer my bushy mustache I was undeterred. My stubborn perseverance led me to attempt using a small candle as a heat source. I lit the candle, ever hopeful that this would be my solution, and began slowly rotating the upturned, lidless, canister of Can you Handlebar. After a few seconds the wax had melted and become liquid, unfortunately, as soon as my finger contacted the now softened patch of wax it immediately hardened, coating my fingertip in a beeswax shield. Alas, this was not a viable option either. My misadventure with the candle did, however, inadvertently provide some valuable insight. A small amount of wax rubbed vigorously between my thumb and forefinger did soften it sufficiently to apply (though not smoothly). So, for a few days I would use the back of my finger nail to scrape up a small amount of wax and rub it in order to apply it. But this was still neither a particularly efficient nor an enjoyable method of application. The wax, while softened enough to apply, still was quite stiff and would grab and pull my whiskers as I applied it, but the hold provided was worth the discomfort. The time involved, however, still proved problematic as it would take roughly 15 minutes to scrape, soften, and work in sufficiently to not leave visible clumps of wax in my 'stache. The solution that I have found works most effectively came when my wife offered her fragrant wax warmer, similar to this one Candle Warmers Etc. Pluggable Fragrance Warmer, Willow . She had witnessed my tribulations and knew of my complaints, so when she got a new fragrance diffuser she suggested I try keeping the tin on top of her now unused fragrant wax melter/warmer. IT IS PERFECT! The wax does not melt into a liquid, it stays just warm enough to easily get some on your finger when rubbed, and it stays pliable and workable long enough on the finger to be worked into my mustache quickly and without tugging. This prevents any visible clumps from being left behind or any greasy appearance. The result is a perfectly styled mustache in 3 minutes or less that will hold handily. Now that I can apply it quickly and easily I love this stuff! It is by far the best hold and least greasy appearing wax I have ever had the pleasure of using. It will hold FOR DAYS! From a single application I can use it all day, go to sleep, wake up and just reform my mustache with the residual wax and get at least a second day of wear. I have not yet gone for 3 days without washing it out, but I imagine it would still work just fine. It has also softened and smoothed my mustache ever so slightly since I started using it.The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is that I literally need a secondary piece of warming equipment to really use the product well.tl;dr This wax is very hard, using a wax warmer (such as this, Candle Warmers Etc. Pluggable Fragrance Warmer, Willow ) to keep it soft enough to use is the best. The hold this wax offers, once applied, is unparalleled. I still highly recommend it if you are looking for a strong all-day or multi-day hold.

Firm, unscented
Can take a while to apply, because of how firm it is (especially in cold weather), but I need very little. It's nearly scent-free, and the natural beeswax scent is pleasant. This is meant to be used in addition to a softer primary wax, but I find I can get along with only this, if I take care while applying it.The container is nice and small, good for pockets.

Good strong hold
I had tried some other moustache wax but it hardly lasted an hour, so I searched on Amazon and found this stuff. I read the reviews and I have to agree it does hold for much longer. It is easy to use, just scrape some out of the tin using the back of your nail and you will find it soon becomes workable in your fingers. The hold will last a few hours. Great product.
