The fact that it doesn't have the rating stamped into the device means that all the little pretty graphics and claims could be completely fabricated. Was in a rush and didn't look closely and I've gotten dinged with 8 of these I don't dare use in rigging because of the liability. They SEEM heavy duty but without the stamp, they are simply too great a risk to deploy in human applications. One goes to the training bin to show others what NOT to buy and the others into the trailer tool box for load management use only.

Seems like it is probably as strong as it says, screw gate feels good, but there’s no rating on the carabiner itself!? Effort was put forth to stamp “Hercules” into one side- how about stamping the rating into the other side?

Awesome tough biner. When I'm rigging, I'm supposed to use steel. This is great. Way over any load I'd put on it, but works great.

Heavy duty and appears very solid. Mine is stamped with the weight right on it as it should be. I’m not sure why everyone else’s isn’t.
