Self-healing Round Rotating Rotary Turntable 8" inch Green CUTTING MAT

Now that I am retired, I am revisiting my sewing as a hobby. I discovered then rotary cutters and cutting boards -- amazing! The rotating cutting board is a wonderful help, I can cut quilting strips in the basement on my ping-pong table and then cut individual quilt pieces as needed in the study. I am right handed and found that when I use an acrylic ruler or shape as a guide for cutting, I prefer to cut in particular directions. Wow, the rotary cutter lets me do just that. Much faster than walking around a ping-pong table or trying to rotate on that surface.

I was quite pleasantly surprised by how sturdy this little mat was when I opened it. It is very solid, and sits very stable on the table when I'm cutting material for my smaller quilt blocks. It seems to form a small "suction" to the cutting table tabletop when I put a little pressure on it to cut, thus holding the little mat in place with no slippage. It turns very easily to rotate the mat with the piece of material on top, unmoved, around, if needed, to cut another section of it. (For example to sewers, squaring up a small half-square block.) I love this little mat. I'll now be looking for a larger one made by this same manufacturer. I'm hoping it will have the same quality as this one does.

Works great. Better than Fiskars. Nice size for small projects - like cutting hexies or dresden plates that are small. I use it at the kitchen table. Turns very well. Doesn't come apart either.

I didn't really think that this turntable would be so small or so light. It doesn't stick to a surface or form any suction to hold it down. It does not rotate because it's just too light and small. I will def hold onto it for classes, etc. I'm in the market for a bigger one because they are fantastic.

Very pleased with this little cutting mat. I use it to cut quilt pieces. It's solid and stable -- it does not wobble and does not slide around. It turns easily and smoothly when you need to turn it, using the grooves around the outside edge.

I love the size and the fact that it is circular, so I'm not always hitting things with corners, I didn't like the surface so I bought a 12x18 mat and cut one side of it into a circle(used my old Ginghers) and glued it on with some E6000, now I have a perfect (for me) circular mat with a good cutting surface, plus the other side of that mat makes a good mat for beside my sewing machine.

I love this rotating rotary cutting board. I have MS and my hands do not always work as I would like. This rotating rotary cutting board helps me from having to physically move my fabric on my cutting mat. The rotation of this rotating rotary cutting board is smooth and easy to rotate. I recommend this product to anyone skeptical.

This rotating cutting mat was very handy to use and worked well. It’s not very big and so it is limited but for trimming small quilt units.
