I wanted led lights for my boat because i fish a lot at night, but most of the strips i bought did not hold up to salt water. These lights are inside a rectangular silicone tube, i cut them in half to put 2, 8 foot strips down both sides of my boat. The lights come with silicone ends and a small tube of silicone to seal where you cut them. (also some plastic mounting clips) There are leads on both ends of a 16 foot strip. There is an adhesive tape on them. I wiped my boat down with acetone and stuck them on, they seem to hold firm, but only time will tell. If they start to peel i can use silicone adhesive and glue them on. My boat does not have gunnels so i had to mount them on the inner surface side of my hull. They are very bright, i may have to find a dimmer for them. If you can under mount them so the light is directed down it would be fine, if you look directly at the lights you start to see stars. As far as the longevity of them goes, i have no idea, but for the price ($20 ish) it beat the next option i had which is $80 for a similar name brand product.

These are very bright white and have held up well under the bed rails of my truck. Have not yellow yet and perform great

I added these to my 1970 K10 chevy for under hood lighting, so I can see what I'm doing at night when I check my fluids. The brightness surprised me, I didn't think it was going to be as bright as they are.Installation was simple enough, I cut the strip to length, cleaned my attaching surface and wired it in. I had to make some brackets to hold the strips in place, the ones that came with it didn't seem like they'd handle under hood temperatures so I 3d printed some simple ABS ones. (not shown in pictures)

These lights do the exact perfect job that we needed in our studio. We received the lights today. Our goal was to add lighting to our video room and the brilliance on the bright white is really perfect for our studio. Today we were able to buy a DC12V power supply and they work awesome. The lights have a great 3M peel away sticker on the back that is really perfect for our needs in the studio. We will be buying more of these. At this price it is a great find here on Amazon!

My RV didn't come with an awning light and the one outside light provided is not enough to see anything.This led strip worked perfectly for my application. The glue is strong enough to make it stick to the underside of the gutter. Because it has cables on both ends, I was able to cut the led strip to my needs and still use all of the strip. I combined the strip with a led strip light controller that doesn't require line of sight. All connections and the controller are hidden inside the existing outside light housing. The strip came with enough cable for me to be able to do a clean installation without drilling holes into my RV. The strip is dimmable. It is bright enough that so far most of the time I have it set to 50%. Way better than the old led chain light that we used before.

Hi KINGLUX,I bought 5 sets of this LED Light Strip & placed it around the rim of my swimming pool recently after replacing my pool liner.The strips are hard to adhere to the surface despite of using a glue. 2 sections on 2 different strips are already out without even contact with waterz.Can you please send me a replacement for the 2 strips? I know I passed the return period already. I love to keep my pool well lit this summer. Thank you!
