Very cheaply made and the "hand crank" is awkward to work but it proves pointless as it provides no charge whatsoever. If you want a dim flashlight and/or a very bulky pocket knife then this thing is right up your ally, otherwise avoid it and buy something that is proven to work. The instructions are almost impossible to make sense of. On one hand it tells you to use the crank and on the other hand it mentions shaking it to generate electricity. Someone in China needs to learn a little English before attempting to translate the instructions.
