Can be hard on arthritic hands or those that suffer from carpal tunnel but it gets the job done
Great product!! Packaged well. It does start to hurt my hand very quickly with the constant squeezing of the trigger, but the yard is clean from all debris!! And it being a 2 pack, my mother in law is able to pick things up without having to bend over as much. She has physical limitations so it's very helpful for her to have. They may not last forever but at the price for two of them, I will repurchase when/if they do break.

This nabber is very impressive
This nabber is very impressive. I have some arthritis in my hands, so yes, it can be a tiny bit hard to use, but... I do not have to lean over. I used this yesterday to do a trash pick up along our property frontage. It grabbed things easily, securely and did not drop things like other picker-uppers do. I was wowed I tried to pick up TINY pieces of glass-and yes! The Unger picked them up beautifully! I even had to work the shards out of the dirt a bit, and it did the job. I was and am super impressed with this item. Would buy again, and it surpasses any other nabbers I have tried. I have jut starting using this, and it seems well made, and will hope that it lasts some time!Great product!

Would purchase again.
Easy to use and lightweight. Doesn't handle some heavier items. We used them in a community effort to clean up trash along the roadside. Some bottles had liquid (water? or?), and if not a whole lot of liquid in the bottle, we could pick up the bottle if it was a water or beer bottle, and tilt it over to pour out the liquid. Some items slipped of the grippers. Would worry about it gripping dishes or glasses from cabinets. Would recommend this item for purchase.

VERY happy with these grabbers!
I am so glad I bought this set of 2 grabbers (even if I did pay $5 more for them last week). I suffer from lower back pain and sciatica, and when it's at its worst, I can't bend over to pick up anything from the floor. With these, I've been able to pick up all sorts of things, painlessly. I can grab something as small as a Splenda packet to something as large as the dog's almost-empty water bowl (empty bowl, rinse, put it back down with the grabber, and refill carefully with water from about 12" above). I can drag clothes from the back of the dryer to the front, making the task of removing them easier. I was even able to grab a mini can of soda from the bottom shelf of the refrigerator door without dropping it. It's so embarrassing sometimes to keep pestering others in the house for help, and these little grabbers help me hold on to some dignity, as well as help keep me more independent. I am VERY pleased with them.

Very cheaply made!
I had these grabbers for awhile before I used them, and then when I did they worked perfectly! I used them to pick up trash in the neighborhood and they could pick up even the tiniest pieces. The problem - they are not made of durable materials at all! The first one broke after about 5-6 hours of use, so I switched to the second one (they come in a pair). However, the plastic in this one snapped in only 4 hours. Note: I was not using them in any extraordinary manner; the plastic just is very cheap. Do yourself a favor and purchase a more durable one for the same cost! Not recommended!

Sturdy well made and reasonably priced
I ordered these because we often pick up trash when we go hiking and also participate in river cleanups during the year. As you can imagine, we come across some pretty gross stuff. These work great for picking up trash, not just paper, but also heavier items like bottle and cans. They appear to be well made and should stand up to repeated use over time. The fact that they can fold is an added bonus, it makes t possible to carry them in a backpack.

Not worth your aggravation, shop a better company
At first this grabber worked well. I've only used it a few times on the weekends to help Clean Up Delaware's litter problem. It was sturdy and I was able to pick up the lighter stuff like discarded tobacco packs and wrappers, candy wrappers, receipts, drink cups, plastic bags, empty aluminum cans and plastic bottles, food containers, etc., with great ease.Heavier objects that had added weight to it, like half-full drink bottles, bigger cans and jugs, and other miscellaneous things, wasn't as sturdy to pickup and there was always a possibility that it might break. Which is eventually what ended up happening! Both my grabbers broke and when I tried to contact the sales dept, they were no longer available!Companies like this, that set up an account under their name multiple times or use a whole other/different name, until they sell out of the crappy product that they're selling, or they get to many complaints, just like in this case... They're cheap, flimsy, grabbers! They do "seem" sturdy at first but believe me they aren't worth it. The triggers broke on both of mine. I had other friends buy these and theirs broke within hours of use.Ironically, "they are no longer available at this time" BUT... I see this SAME COMPANY has a few other accounts under the same exact name with the same exact product being sold!!!I guess you get what you pay for 😉I'll be buying from another company and so will all my friends in our Clean Up group!!!

Makes Life Much Easier
The older I get, the more someone keeps moving the upper cupboards and shelves higher. We have one grabber tool from when my husband had hip surgery quite a few years ago, but it was never in the right place at the right time. We got two of these to use in different areas. They're wonderful! Lightweight and I love that the grabbers on them can be turned to make it more comfortable to reach something at a different angle.
