Sturdy enough for a LARGE cat, and plenty of room. He loves it. It's also easy to put down while not using it without removing the suction cups. This allows you to close blinds/curtains, which was an added bonus. Although it hangs there and looks slightly odd from outside, but it doesn't bother me. I've had it up through the changing Chicago seasons and haven't had to reapply the suction cups once.

I should have paid attention to the dimensions. The large is HUGE, and is too big to fit in any of the windows of my house. It would be better suited to sliding glass doors, or picture windows. However I was able to rig it up with some command strips, so I still love them. My cats have yet to get used to them, it's only been a few weeks.

I really liked how strong the seats looked. And they were plenty big for both my cats to have cuddled there. However, They would not fit on my windows. :( Is there any way to exchange them for a smaller size or just return them?

Very easy to put together. We moved and the new place has small window sills. Our cat has always enjoyed looking out thru a window. I went to Amazon saw this and decided to take a chance. Best move ever, the cat is happy and so am I.

It took my cat a while to adjust to it but once he figured it out he was on it all the time. He loves watching the birds outside my window while he is comfortably laying down.

My kitties love sitting and laying in the window on this hammock, sometimes watching the birds or just laying in the sun. Totally worth the money spent!

I want to start off by saying this is a great product the way it came, but since we have a cat with some health issues it eased my mind to make it sturdier. She is a bit clumsy at times as well and she would knock the upper suction cups off as the location of the supplied cables is kind of in the way, as the location we wanted to put it in our home requires her to jump onto it from the sides. This scared her a little bit as it made her fall off (she did so gracefully!). Our other cat had no issues using it. I would also like to mention the window is very cold so that may have had an effect on the suction power. Below are some ideas if you want to make it stronger than any other product out there.To fix the upper suction cups I fixed some aircraft cable I had to a bracket (happened to have a curtain rod bracket in the right place) and hooked the supplied cables to my cable (see the second photo). This thing can now hold well over 50 pounds. This can be done with anything else; if you have some self-threading eye-bolts around you could use those as well if you don't mind the holes in your walls/window casing. If you don't want holes or want to fix it to the window only there are 3M stick-on hooks that are very sturdy. If you need to extend the provided cables on a budget, grab some cheap chain from your local hardware store, it's more than strong enough. Again if you have normal cats the product is probably fine as designed.The lower suction cups that hold the base in place hold up just fine as they carry just a fraction of the weight. The only issue I ran into with them is that the plastic frame slides off of them with any small force applied away from the window, so your cat could potentially push it off. If the cables are fixed on the same vertical plane as the lower suction cups (like the original design) the chances of this decrease (as the cables exert some force against the required direction of force to knock it off) but it still did not seem safe enough for me. An easy fix for this was to drill small holes in the plastic base where it mates to the suction cups and pop a screw in there (see the third photo). This keeps the base fixed to the cup. You could also use glue if you prefer, but then it's harder to take apart. I honestly expected this product to come with some sort of fastener for this location as it just requires two quick holes and two cheap screws, and doesn't affect the ease of assembly other than needing to use a screwdriver.The end result is a worry-free cat loft that can sustain CATegory 5 PURRicanes! I spent way too much time on this review but I hope it helps someone keep their cats safer if needed. To reiterate, great product as designed but as our cat is clumsy we wanted to make her feel safe and sturdy when she watches birds outside. Thanks for reading.
