Introducing the Router Guide Bushing with Locknut Set by POWERTEC.This template guide bushing and nut combo ensures uniform and flawless routing outcomes in all your template router applications that involve 1/4” templates. The short shank guide bushing is 5/8" OD and 17/32" ID. The bushing is 7/32" long and the body of the bushing is 1-11/64" with a 1-23/64" flange.The handy short shank guide bushing is designed for use with routers that have Porter-Cable style sub bases (1-3/16" to 1-1/4" through openings in the base) and intended to be used in conjunction with a 3/8" hanger bit. These are very nice quality. We used them in close tolerance in a plunge router, so our bits occasionally come in contact with them and tear them up, but the soft brass saves the bit. The machining on the threads is nice and smooth. The rub collar itself is a nice depth, as we run a lot of shallow templates, and we’ve had to cut down other brands cause they’d be too long and bottom out. I really like these and keep a few on hand since our guys run these on 12 different routers. We ran the porter cable brand originally but I believe they stopped making them, because we are having a hard time finding them. These are a great replacement.
