New Item This is a coin center punch and die set that is used to punch the center out of a coin in order to begin its transformation into a work of art. It is sized for the US Morgan Silver Dollar. Included with this punch and die set are 2 coin spacers. One is sized for the US Half Dollar another for a US Quarter. Spacer to accommodate a Penny, Dime and nickle are available for additional fee of $20 Ea. When you purchase this punch and Die set. Punch is machined of High Carbon Steel and hardened to rockwell setting of 52 , Punches 1/2" Hole. Die are Machined by CNC metal lathe. When Possible use press, or second hammer to prevent damage to Punch Die Set.

Poor Quality Overall
Arrived filthy. Finish was very course at best. Punch is dull and leaves a huge burr on the backside. Punch finish is so course it looks threaded. The lathe tooling grooves bite into the coin so you must pound the punch back out of the coin with a mallet. Finally, spacers are off center and made of very poor quality material. Off center by a mile ruining any coins you use. Don't waste your money. Buy a quality product from another vendor.

Works excellently
Great tool. Came the next day. Like in some other reviews, the punch sticks but I use a small dowel and my arbor press to push it back through without damaging the coin at all. Probably could avoid this all together if I pre-lubed the punch. Very good material used and tolerance is tight. Takes all guess work out of finding center and speeds up the ring making process. FYI fits Morgan and peace dollars, all half dollars i've found and quarters but does not fit 1 ounce silver rounds

Pretty ruff.
Not sending the punch that you see in the pics. The punch I received look used.. Pretty ruff .. And it has a grip preventing the tap to push on threw the die completely. Also making it hard to get the tap out of the coin without hammering on the blade of the tap. Very disappointed in this product and this company.
