We live in Central Florida and my husband (unlike me) hardly EVER sleeps with a blanket but he loves this one! It's lightweight; it keeps you warm but it breathes well with the material that has small (intended) holes in it; kind of a waffle like thing is my way of describing it); they said it better with the "open weave " description now that I look back at it. My guy had surgery last year and it was nippy in the room so he used one of these blankets and said he wanted one! So, I got him one from Amazon last December and he's all cuddled up in it right now as it's around 40 degrees overnight here right now; we've been in cold weather spots like Germany, I was also stationed at the Air Force Academy in Colorado, my Mom lives in Chicago, I went to college in Eau Claire WI; so we know no one is feeling sorry for us when it's overnight 39/40 for a couple of months and 75 in the afternoon! Not sure if it would have kept me warm enough in the colder places I named; I may have had 2 blankets then but it's comfortable and we like it! I tried it over me (when he was at work so he couldn't fuss, LOL) and I thought it was surprisingly warm! <3 :)

After losing some weight a few years ago, I found myself much colder, much more often. I have a collection of different blankets at home that I use, depending on how cold I am at any given time.I fell in love with 'hospital blankets' when my husband was recently hospitalized for a week and it was pretty cold in his room - I spent the time there snuggled under one of his blankets. I ordered this particular product and am thrilled to report that this blanket is exactly what I had hoped.It's very comfortable! Lightweight, yet warm; cozy, yet durable and all around, exactly what I was hoping it would be. Very nice, warm yet breathable. Perfect for summer. Not very wide. Seems well made.

The weave is so large that it's basically a blanket with holes in it. Which is fine if you aren't particularly cold - if you just want a very light layer, this blanket is for you. Not super soft like microfiber, but a good basic cotton blanket.

It's a nice blanket, but I'm still getting used to it. I thought it was overpriced, but I really could be wrong. I don't know what goes into making these things, and I sure couldn't create it! I would say that it's very lightweight. It almost has a macrame feel to it except for the edges. When I opened the box, I thought it felt lighter than I was expecting. It's not too warm to lay under but it feels good on your skin.

It is a nice lightweight all-cotton blanket to put over a top sheet and keeps you warm despite being lightweight but not too warm--it breathes since thermal. Edges woven well so won't unravel. Only drawback is that I wanted a full size blanket but only could find twin so making do with twin.

Not a thermal blanket at all. Very thin and little heat containment . So disappointing, I wanted another like the last; just like warm hospital blankets.

I got two as sea covers for my L shaped couch because my kids can be messy and these are very easy to wash... it's light weight so easy to fix/adjust easily. These are 100 percent cotton so be prepared for a few drying sessions to collect the lint. It was about three rounds in the dryer to get most of the lint. Also the more you wash the softer cotton becomes. So when you first receive it, it's a more of a durable feel to it which i like for sitting on a couch... in about a year it will soften up. This blanket is also a mix between close/tight weave to open eyelet weave. Which makes it look kind of hand made and pretty. I might order more to use as actual blankets when it's hot out.

Arrived just in time for an early heatwave. It is a bit stiff, even after one washing, but I have it on top of a sheet so it doesn’t matter. A crisp white summer blanket that meets my needs.

The quality of the fabric is undeniably soft after the first washing (before it was a bit stiff).There was a lot of fuzz in the dryer screen, but I am confident that this gets less after a couple of washings, due to my experience with similar blankets of that style.I only give 4 out of 5 stars because I expected a much heaver blanket (I use it as a second linen sheet over my fitted sheet, not to use as a cover), but the quality is faultless.it is very light, so great to use as a summer blanket made of natural fibres.
