When Calls the Heart Cookbook: Dining with the Hearties

The wife loved it, but she is a dedicated "Hearty". Seems a little thin to me, but she was delighted to find it under the tree this year. Color pictures of dishes on glossy pages and additional "Heart" info.

Fun cookbook! It wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I thought it was recipes from the show but the cookbook is filled with recipes from fans. It's still pretty cool but I wish I would have read the description or reviews more carefully so that when it arrived I wouldn't have been a little disappointed. It's still a fun book and I would recommend it!

There are a lot of really good recipes in this book...but not all are Hope Valley recipes...Maryland Crab Dip for example...looks delish but sure they didn't have crab or Old Bay then! Or stuffed Pasta shells...doubt they used those big shells. But I still highly recommend it...I bought this one at used price...when Vol 2 comes down in price I'll buy. But it's too much right now & no used options.

Only made cookies from this recipe book but most recipes look easy to follow. I am really going to enjoy this cookbook! I seem to collect cookbooks but never use them. This one seems to be different, and may turn out to be my 'go to' recipe guide!

Was hoping it was recipes from the Era of the show. Not worth it

I enjoyed the idea of a collection of recipes from fans of my favorite show. The majority of the recipes did not appeal to me. But I’m happy to support projects related to WCTH
