a Beautifully made bible, Definitely worth the money
i've had this Bible now for a couple days and i absolutely Love it. it turned out Exactly as i hoped it would. the box it comes in did have a bit on a dent on one of the corners but, that's no big deal to me. the main thing is that the Bible itself is in the perfect condition i would expect it to be in for what i paid for it. Normally, i do prefer the Thumb-Indexed version of a Bible if i can get it but, this time i decided to go for the non-Thumb Indexed version because it was published by the Lockman Foundation themselves and i love the way the verse numbers are very bold and super easy to find. Also, i really love the fact that it is a Red Letter edition which is very uncommon for Lockman Foundation Bibles. i know the Red Letter feature is just a publisher's choice and that it has no real bearing on the text itself but, it's just a personal preference for me if i can get a Bible with it in there. i Highly recommend getting this Bible, it is Beautifully well made, not even so much as a wrinkled page anywhere in it. i will say, though, the pages are a bit on the thin side so, i would definitely be careful when turning them and that also means there's a bit of ghosting wherever the linematched text isn't at on the page but, it's not too bad. i also love the Giant Print in this Bible. it makes reading So much easier and a lot more enjoyable. one other thing i really like is the 2020 text itself. i think it's very interesting how it reads a bit different than what i'm used to with the 1995 edition of the NASB and Definitely different from the 1977 NASB. All in all, i would give this Bible a 10+ star rating. if you can afford it, then you should get it.

Good Value, Giant Print NASB in Black Genuine leather
Print is large enough for my blurry old vision. The NASB is one of my two favorite translations (other is ESV), and everyone who wants to study the bible ought to have one, imo. For reading, I usually reach for the ESV, and it is good to have both, along with that old KJV. I also use some paraphrases and newer translations like NKJV, NRSV, and NLT for comparison with some passages. No translation can be perfect. You won't find perfection with the covering/binding, either. However, the genuine leather is nice, the binding is Smyth-sewn, and appearance very good. At under forty bucks, it is a very good value. Genuine leather is much more durable than the bonded type, so if the signatures are well sewn, it should stand up well to use. You don't get the finest bible paper, but that would be too expensive for the target market, anyway. So you get some bleed-through but it isn't so bad that I find it distracting.I haven't even looked for any helps - I have better in print and on PC. E-Sword's the champ. But I bought this one and a giant print ESV for reading in the garden where electronic screens wash out in bright light.I highly recommend the translation, and the bible itself for those who need the print size. It is rather large and heavy, but that's unavoidable for print this size. Best used by us seniors in the lap or on a table - your arms will tire if you have to hold it up very long while reading. Also, I think they did a good job of page lay-out. Very good value for money.

Recommend this Bible for home and church
What I like - the binding appears to be good quality, the type size (14) is large enough that I can read the Bible without reading glasses (I use 1.75 magnification reading glasses), the Times New Roman font is fine, the burgundy color cover is not too bright, the words of Christ are in red, each verse starts on a separate line, and the Bible is does not feel too heavy or too thick. That said, this is a Bible that I could take to church but this size of a Bible seems to big and heavy to carry around all day. What I do not like - there is slight bleed-through on the pages, although not enough to interfere with reading. I am not planning to use a highlighter on this Bible so I do not know how much bleed-through there would be with a highlighter. Also, I would have liked more references.Other notes - the Bible is "leathertex" which seems like a nice way to say "plastic."Also, the Bible is not indexed. I don' want indexing, although I recognize that many other persons prefer indexed Bible. I do not like indexing because the pages would be more difficult to turn if multiple semi-circles were cut on the edges of the pages for indexing.I like the 1977 version of the NASB better than the 1995, probably because that is what I am used to. That said, my favorite reading Bible would be the 1977 NASB with more references than this Bible has. Everything else could stay the same.

I LOVE IT !
Great deal on this one ! I love the large print - do not need my reading glasses in church. A little thick but not a heavy Bible. This replaces my church Bible that is 24 years old and full of notes - no more space and pages beginning to tear away. That Bible became my favorite Bible (a Kenneth Copeland The Word Study Bible) but is no longer available. This NASB is a new version for me but I like it and the quality of this Bible is a good replacement for my really, favorite that cannot truly be replaced, but like I said it is no longer available. If the quality of this Bible withstands the wear and time that the Bible this one replaces - I will be well pleased. This Bible has an attractive format without too many distractions for reading the Word in church and plenty of space for notes. At this point there is nothing about this Bible that I do not like !.......except that it had to replace my favorite but I am so THANKFUL this seems that it will be a perfect replacement !

A great study Bible
This is a great study bible. The only thing that I didn't like is that I purchased the hard copy by mistake. I wanted the leather bound Bible. Other than that, the Bible is in giant print which makes it easy for reading for those who wear glasses or have trouble seeing. It is also great for reading along an audio bible such as the NASB audio Bible on CD. I have a thin line NASB Bible but it is getting to where I can't see the print as well. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to know about God's word. It is a good translation to understand if you have trouble understanding old English of the King James Version (KJV).
