They are great for travel and eliminate using up too much space in your luggage. But most important I wanted a product that would not only clean my hair but also to leave it soft. This product does all that and more. I am really impressed. I could actually feel my hair and scalp squeaking while rinsing, that told me it was clean. The scent isn't overpowering but that's not the most important thing to me. I also like the fact that it doesn't have any harsh chemicals that can cause irritation. My skin is somewhat sensitive so I have to be careful with that. Just start rubbing the wet bar on your hair and it spreads through it easily. The conditioner rinses really well. My hair is very soft, shiny, and not as flyaway. I let it dry naturally and didn't even have to take the flat iron to it. I will definitely be buying this again! The conditioner works well, but it is harder to get a sense of what's happening during application. Using a bottled conditioner, I always felt it during application. With the conditioner bar (as opposed to the shampoo bar), it's hard to tell. I suspect this results in my using more than I actually need.
