ok, let me tell you about my experience with the lights, and my experience with Aootek. Lights: the good: They work very well. the lights are bright, the motion sensor works well from a good distance, and I haven't had any battery or solar cell issues. the bad: You pay a little over $2/light (buy them on sale...they are on sale every other week). For this price point, you kinda get what you pay for. The main issue with the lights is how they are sealed. (sorry, I meant how poorly they are sealed) I live in Florida, the humidity is 100% and the rain is torrential. Moisture is going to get into the lights, its just a matter of when. The interior of the lights are not protected against moisture at all. (no conformal coating on the circuit board, no silicon sealant on the wire connections.) Remember, you paid $2 for this thing. If you don't care about the lights failing after 6 months, then no issues. However, you can extend this duration by sealing the lights yourself. The back and sides (around the leds) of the light are sealed very well. Nothing is getting in here unless something breaks the light. The top solar cell is another story. There are grooves around the cell that give the water a place to sit and eventually work its way inside. The front motion sensor and power button have no seal at all. Humidity? come inside and make yourself at home. After water or humidity get inside, its game over. The lights are sealed well enough that you're never going to be able to get the water out. The accumulated water corrodes the circuit board, the wires, the battery, and the leds. There are countless pictures of lights in the reviews with rust colored stains inside the housing. When that happens, its game over for the light. Sealing the lights: Get some rtv silicon, use a toothpick, and put a thin bead around the solar cell, the motion sensor, and the power button. (around, don't cover the solar cell or motion sensor.) Will this last forever? Probably not, but it will make your lights last longer. Remember, you paid $2 for this thing. Aootek: I bought the lights, put them up, and was happy with them until they failed. They all failed. Contacted Aootek, went back and forth a few times (they wanted pictures of the failed lights, and where I mounted them) They then sent me replacements. So yeah, that's how a warranty process should work. (You better believe I sealed the crap out of the replacements before I put them up) So why did I give them 5 stars? Their product is good for what you paid for it. If you're willing to seal them, you can make them very good. If not, buy some more expensive lights and maybe they'll be better. (and maybe they won't) The company honored their warranty. So yeah, they're legit.

I really like this solar motion sensor light. It’s compact but gives off a surprisingly bright light and has a nice wide coverage. We replaced our old one with this, and it works great so far. Easy to install and a great little light for the front door/yard area. Definitely happy with it!

These are the best lights! I have 2 sets that clip on my vinyl siding of my home. They are solar charged, and provide enough light to see my back and side yard. When motion activated they are really bright. It gives me peace of mind for my back and side yards that don’t have electric lights. They last all night if charged most of the day by the sun. Great value for a reliable product!

I had only one old solar activated light in my backdoor that, after 5 years of sun exposure, decided to give up the ghost. Actually, the protecting plastic that covered the light sensor disintegrated. Time to see what I could get on Amazon. I saw this and read the reviews. With my fingers crossed, I clicked on ADD TO CART, checked out, received the items. These have a smaller footprint than my original solar activated light BUT they are brighter! Plus they have three different modes that are activated by pressing a button. I replaced the one in my backdoor, put up three in the front and two sides of my backyard shed. Now, when the racoons pass, they are gleefully met with a light that shines their way. I am satisfied with these, certainly. Now I find myself constantly peering outside to see if the lights are triggered...that is the only 'down' side.

Outstanding product. Easy to install and works well to illuminate those dark areas. Have one at both entrances, front and rear. When activated floods the area with light. No batteries or wires, just sunshine.

I must have bought the same brand at least 5-6 times over the last few years. I put them at my front door, my car port, side yards, back alley and back fence. Always the same brand. So easy to install, and wire-free since they’re solar-powered. They work reliably and last out in the harsh West Texas climate, and is great value for your money! The most helpful aspect is their motion detector. Along my entire back fence, I can tell in which direction the feral animals are going. In the car port and perimeter of my house/yard, my dogs can see where the movement is. I just keep adding more lights but over 6+ years, I have not had to replace any yet.

Exactly as advertised. Work very well, responds without fail to motion, and very bright!

i have 2 that work great and light well. the other 2 kinda work for a few then shuts down no matter how much i play w them they just do what they want. when they function they work good. they sense movement well and stay on a good amount of time.
