Only drawback is corrosion resistance
These straps work great for the application (strapping a small boat down), are easy to install/use and very strong. Only longer term concern I have is if they can withstand corrosion as I don't think the buckle is galvanized.

Wonderful straps
Great sturdy straps! My only problem is they expand and contract when theyโre wet or dry. I use them to tie down my canopy and needs a spring to prevent expansion and contraction.

Great straps
These straps are great. The hooks are big enough to hook onto the frame of my walk behind mower and wheeled leaf blower. They hold extremely well. Definitely worth the price.

There is no tag for the rating. When get one how do I know if it's safe for the load?
As a Crane Operator for 42 years it's important to know what the load rating is on the rigging I'm working with. I just bought different sizes of tie straps for the tool box. There are no load rating tags. When I or someone goes to get one to tie something down there is no way of knowing if it's safe. There are no tags. I paid top dollar to buy American made. I expected better. Now I question the % of how much of the product is American made. I think it's MORE IMPORTANT to have a load rating tag than a tag of who sold it. Some of their ads don't list any load rating at all. How do you know what your buying? Who proof reads these ads? Who's ramrodding this outfit anyway?

Very Sturdy
I prefer the cam buckle tie downs over the ratchet strap tie downs. Fewer moving parts to fail. And yes, I have had a ratchet strap fail while holding up a motorcycle.
