I despise washing pots and pans. They are the last thing I clean and usually require more effort than the collective energy of washing all the dishes, utensils, bowls, and cups. The last thing I want to do after spending the remnants of my energy, after a long day at work, putting a meal together, is standing at the sink - with my aching back and pruned hands - scrubbing the endless nooks and crannies of my cookware. To be truthful, sometimes the mere question of whether I will have the gusto to clean my kitchen prompts me to dig out the take-out menus. Why am I telling you this? Because this little scrubber has changed my life! Seriously!In a matter of seconds -- no joke, less than a minute -- this scrubber has cleaned up my cast iron skillet! No more bits of shredded green scrubby, or greasy dischcloth to contend with. Simply scrape the residual food into your trash, run hot water over the skillet, swish the chain mail scrubber around, and voila! Done!Initially I was taken back at the size, but no matter...because it works! (Why, in America, do we think bigger is always better?)Because you are not using soap with the scrubber, it understandably feels greasy after a handful of uses. This does not impact its effectiveness. I just I toss a bit of soap on it now and again to get rid of that feeling, for aesthetic purposes, however completely unnecessary.I like that it has a large link in the corner to hang for drying. However, since it is stainless steel, it is not going to rust.As an added benefit, the testosterone-driven ones in your life may be more apt to wash the pan, with such a 'manly' scrubber!

Works well on slightly dirty pan, haven't tried it on a very dirty pan yet.

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, unless something is exceptional one way or the other. This chain mail scrubber? Is *exceptional*! I love it! Finally a good way to quickly and easily clean up my cast iron pans without taking off the seasoning. It also got long baked-on grease off my pyrex glass baking pan that i'd scrubbed and scrubbed at with an abrasive sponge. Just foof, off it came. And it goes in the dishwasher to clean/sterilize. I haven't had it for all that long so i can't say how it will hold up over time, but it sure seems solid. I have actually been thinking that i should get these for holiday and housewarming gifts for people - i don't think that many people have them yet, and they're incredibly useful. The only thing is i might also want one that's a little bigger.

I love my cast iron pans and Dutch oven, but they are a pain to clean if you don't do it right away. Well, sometimes I just don't feel like doing them right away, and have had to scrub and scrub to get them clean the next morning. This chain link scrubber has completely eliminated that problem. Cleaned the food residue quickly and easily, and didn't damage the seasoning of the pan one bit. I couldn't believe it. I wish I had gotten one years ago. I was a bit hesitant that the links weren't welded, but that has not been issue at all. The scrubber is well made and the perfect size for scrubbing, not too small or too big. What a great item.

Was a tad bit smaller than the pictures showed. Other than that, I like this product. It cleans my cast iron pans way better than my was cloth.

I like how the chain-mail scrubber cleans, HOWEVER, very disappointed that rather than a 7"X7" size which I thought I was to receive, the size I received is only 4"x4".

I like it: it's perfect size to work with on my cast iron pan and some stainless steel pots. It doesn't seem to scratch. It's easy to store cause it's small. This is just a cute little tool which helps me work more efficiently in the kitchen. One little thing, though: I wonder if the manufacturer can use a thicker plastic bag for packaging. The package looked a bit sloppy when it arrived, and I thought I bought what's not decent for the money.
