Mermaids A-Hoy!
My fiancé absolutely LOVES this tail! Great color, value, and good quality of material. She’s been swimming with it SO much and it’s holding strong. I would advise to get the plastic flipper for your feet to make swimming easier!

The tail is slightly see throught but extremely beautiful!
Nice material very stretchy but slightly see through ive only used it a handful of times but I had accidentally scratched it on the bottom of a pool and it still looks amazing!

No tail fin included
Maybe I missed that this is just a fabric tail with no actual fin… needless to say, it’s not great for swimming. It seems to be a weird fashion statement. Returned to purchase one with the tail fin included for swimming.

VERY THIN BUYER BEWARE NOT A ACTUAL SWIMMING TAIL
Thought it was gona be a actual tail, like you use for swimming....this is like leggings made to look like a tail...Not impressed at all material is thin color is bright just not what i thought it would be at all. Easy to use but stretches way too easily.

Quite nice mer tail!
I'm a professional/performing merperson, and I've handled & worked on mer tails of all sorts - "name-brand" fabric tails, neoprene tail (both painted and scaled/sequinned), and silicone. My first tail was hand-sewn and is extremely realistic (though a bit delicate, due to the fabric I had available) with a large, expensive monofin rated for ocean diving. My second tail is a FinFun limited edition, with a Mermaid Linden monofin by Body Glove in youth size, since I got it before they made adult sizes and I am short/small (I was one of the first to get that monofin, and my feedback helped push adult sizes into production). All this to say, I am VERY experienced with mer tails and know what I'm looking for/at!The tail in this listing is actually pretty decent for not being "name brand"! The fabric is similar to my FinFun tail, maybe a little thinner/less dense. The fluke is open, just like standard FinFun tails, to make it easy to get a monofin in and out, and to facilitate better water drainage/hydrodynamics (zippered flukes often balloon up due to water flow being restricted, causing a lot of drag while also looking kind of funny). Just like my FinFun tail, I will be sewing small Velcro strips into the inside edge of the fluke to better hide my monofin while still allowing for water flow. This tail does NOT come with a monofin, as is clearly stated in the listing. I prefer buying tails without monofins, so that I can put my own monofin in them - quite often, the monofins that come with tails are too soft/basic for me, with my performance style and swimming abilities, I much prefer monofins that are rated for ocean diving rather than the more "entry-level" ones that are only meant for light pool swimming. The color and printing are absolutely beautiful! Very nice aesthetic, rich and deep with bright highlights that really give it a dimensional look. I got this tail because I needed a tail that felt a bit more "masculine" to me than my FinFun tail - I have the Groovy Goby; it's very bright and has rainbow colours, which is awesome for the general queer vibes, but with how the world is at the moment I wanted something a little less "Pride-y" and more "mysterious merman" for regular use, and I'm trying to not wear out that tail since it was a birthday present from my late mom.

Mermaid fail!!!!!!!
There was no zipper sewn into the bottom in order to keep the mono fin locked inside it!!!

Nice and Affordable Mermaid Tail.
Obviously this will not be as nice as a silicone tail but for the price I am very pleased. Color is bright, material is soft and comfortable, fit snug but not too snug. The bottom opens so it's easy to put on and remove the mono-fin, though I still need to get a mono-fin to go with it. A good option for beginners to see if they can learn to swim with a tail. Overall a nice tail for the money, and fun.
