Great Value!
WARNING to those that have never used or are unaccustomed to a professional quality chef knife, be careful! I am an experienced woodworker very familiar to using sharp tools yet cut the tip of my index finger upon first use, cut right through my nail with little effort. WOW! The enclosed glove is a good idea for the novice not used to this degree of sharp. This knife is just amazing!, beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced and a tool that will will stop your search for an effective everyday go to kitchen knife. I've wasted a lot of money purchasing attractive but certainly not even close in quality or sharpness. Don't think twice and no need to pay more, I can't imagine you will find a better value in a chef knife.

Made very well
I am a sauté chef/Prep Cook at an upscale restaurant. I used my knife for the first time yesterday during my entire work shift. I love it. It’s made very well. The blade is thick and sturdy. Not flexible like some knives. The handle is heavy but I like it weighted like that for the strength. The knife was sharp and yes I used the anti cut glove because I wasn’t used to the knife and wanted to be sure my hand was protected. The package/box it came in was very nice and would make an excellent gift.

Big sharp knife
This knife was bigger and heavier than I expected, but not in a bad way. Not having had a decent knife in a while, it was also VERY sharp compared to what I had been using. As a plus, it comes with a cut glove, which I used the first time because I was scared I'd lose a finger. But the knife is very easy to use, not as dangerous as it appears at first, and cuts well. The weight seems well balanced. It also comes in a nice sheath. I've only used it a couple of times so far, so can't really judge it's durability other than by the way it's made.

Amazing quality
Easily the best quality I have ever had a chance to use.The attached glove is a nice marketing touch as well as a precaution against getting sued for damages, although I cannot imagine myself cooking in gloves that are too small for me, anyway. Beware, because this is razor sharp and it stays that way for a couple of months, if handled properly. (It can be easily sharpened later, as needed.)

Purchased as a gift
I purchased this knife as a gift for my daughter-in-law. So, I don't know how sharp it is. It is, however, a very beautiful knife, and it feels good in my hand. I'm thinking of getting one for myself. I like that it comes with a sheath. It came in a nice box, and looked very classy.

Blade Chipped Immediately
We used this knife for cutting fruits, vegetables, and meat on a cutting board, and it quickly got a few small chips in it. It cuts very well, but I was very disappointed that it was chipping to that extent so quickly.

Missing safety glove! Still waiting on missing glove
Loved the knife BUT the safety glove was missing, hoping they will send it soon.

Good quality; affordable price.
This knife is a superior value. For as inexpensive as it is, one would be wary of the quality. However, it is very sturdy and doesn't bend out of shape. I'm excited about the fact that the blade is full tang and is very well balanced. I had a KitchenAid chef's knife with full tang, and plastic handle. It was part of a set. In less than 5 years the tang rusted within the handle, even though it had never been cleaned in a dishwasher or left submerged. This knife is to replace that one and I'm expecting it to last a good deal longer than the last one.
