Ordered this last night, it arrived this morning, and I immediately tested it out on my daughter's softball cleats.I used the brush it came with, first dry just to brush off the loose dirt, then I got it wet and added a quirt of this MGK "stuff" to the brush.It foams up a LOT when you start brushing. I did not need to add more soap, just the one initial squirt. I made sure to rub all the areas I could then just wiped it off with a paper towel. That's it.It works very well and does not require additional water so the shoes are ready to be worn immediately. (The instructions for fabric/canvas shoes do require rinsing and drying though). It does not have any kind of chemical odor and did not make a mess.I didn't do the tongue or laces yet... I will but I was too excited to come here and post my review.

Been using these primarily to clean my mountain bike shoes and I thought I should have discovered this product sooner! I like to keep my bike and my gear clean and this kit have been a game or should I say ride changer. Just to get rid of some little spots of mud and dirt here and there without making the shoes soaking wet and be ready and clean before the next ride is such a wonderful thing. Might need more passes if your shoes are canvas or cloth especially if they're dried on mud/dirt.

I used this cleaner on a relatively new pair of Brooks sneakers that had some discoloration at the toe from normal walking. Unfortunately, this product did not work as advertised or anticipated.

When I use water and soap they do not come as clean as when I use this product
