I was expecting a cheap battery kit from china! When I got this I was blown away at the quality of even the packaging used. Everything is of the highest standard. The tools feel like professional quality and the battery itself feels very well made. Comes with step by step instructions with color pictures. For someone who is mechanically skilled this is a simple fix. I would imagine tho this is not for the everyday person. If you are not able to change the oil in your car or replace your hard drive in your pc I would recommend taking it to someone who does it professionally. Any negative reviews of this product is lack of competency of the buyer or manufacture defects (.01>). I will update my review after I get through some charges. I also Purchased two More of these kits. The first one only took about 20 mins to do and the sec one took about 10 mins to do. Take your time and be nice to the phone. Hardest part is pulling the double side tape off. Follow directs. Simple

I replaced this battery, charged it up, and it lasts longer than it ever did, even when the phone was brand new! I do have a background in phone repair (worked for apple as a technician for 5 years), so I found this repair to be easy. It is definitely doable, but I would recommend watching a video on youtube or iFixit before attempting to repair this on your own. You definitely need to be careful with this repair because the battery can puncture fairly easily and can catch fire and release lots of fumes that are definitely not good for you. Overall, 10/10 would recommend.

My 13 year old has been bugging me to get her a new phone because her battery was dying fast every day. I didn’t want to buy her a new phone and the stores wanted to charge over $100 to replace it. I found this on amazon and was a little skeptical, but so glad I bought it. Came in a very nice package with all the tools and step-by-step instructions. Easy to replace. The hardest part was removing apple’s battery because it’s glued down, but it was still easy to do. The new battery has an even longer life than the original battery. My daughter thinks i’m Super Mom now! Saved money and earned cool points - win, win!!!

The kit came with every thing needed. I found a couple of bigger flat head screw drivers may be needed to work out the old battery. Removing the old battery from the glue was the hardest part. I also youtubed a video just to be extra safe. Other than that, removing the glass cover was easy. The instructions also say to rubber band the screen at a 90 degree angle to something like a case to some eye glasses. If you are careful, this way was great. The videos says to take off the screen. I do not recommend this. After putting the kit back together, I put it on the charger. I noticed when the battery got to 100%, the phone never showed the completed charged symbol. Finally, I've been using the iphone 6 over the last couple of days, and I couldn't be more pleased with how long the battery is lasting. I would recommend.

I was apprehensive about replacing my iPhone 6 battery myself. I am pretty good mechanically and the required tools are included. Easily pulled the 4 screws (two to release the screen, two to remove a metal cover over the battery terminal.) My only issue was getting the old battery out of the case. The factory uses double-sided tape to hold the battery tightly to the metal back of the lower case. I assume it helps with heat dissipation like a heat sink on electronic components. But, damn...does that tape hold tight!!!! I did not completely discharge the battery before attempting this. Bad move. Let your phone battery go almost completely dead. I had to pry under the battery, bending it upward while trying to get it off the adhesive. About 1/2 thru, I heard a 'pop' and the battery starting sparking and smoking. Got very, VERY hot and smoked up my kitchen. Thankfully, it only hissed and popped and expanded like a cheap firework snake for about 20 seconds then it was done destroying itself. Saving grace; it did not contact any of the electronics. The high heat released the adhesive bond too. I used electronic contact cleaner to remove the remaining goo on the back plate. I think a light coating of dielectric grease on the battery back would do the same thing as the adhesive strips for heat transfer. Its what most electronics manufacturers use.Overall, success and so far the battery is holding its charge for much longer than my old 4 yr old Apple replacement. Time will tell but this was a huge savings. Hint: Use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften up the adhesive or some non-damaging electronic component spray to soften the adhesive goo. You can do this !!!

Had previously replace the battery in my iPhone 6 several months ago with a 1800mAh that must have been poor quality. Battery gave about 8 hours light usage. Then purchased this 2200mAh, it's much better. Now getting 3 days light usage or a full day of heavy usage. Only problem I found was the supplied screw driver didn't fit the screws in my phone well. Had to use tools I already owned. Would still recommend this kit for anyone looking to replace their battery with one with greater capacity and reliability.

This set gives you everything you need. But, some tips:1. The hardest part by far was taking out the old battery, with the glue problem. Watch one or two youtube videos on how to do this before starting. I was able to finagle the old battery off in the end, but it took me at least 30 minutes.2. The four connectors to the logic board (which connects the screen to the rest of the phone), make sure those are plugged in properly. If you turn your phone back on and you are having issues with lines on the screen/parts of the screen not responding, it's probably because the connectors are not properly.. connected. Some videos recommend you do the whole battery exchange without removing the screen, but I think that would be extremely difficult given how hard it is to take the old battery out. You'll see.3. The battery connector is hard to connect. Be warned.Otherwise, the product itself and the tools are helpful. You have everything you will need.
