I use the hardwire version of these encoders without any issues. I was skeptical about using the wireless version but I bought it anyway.If you're kind of tech savvy it's not too hard to setup and, if you're not, they have some very responsive tech support.I will say, if the UI of the encoder had more presets, I'd be even happier but they can do that with firmware updates and I found some work-arounds which work fine.I use this encoder attached to my camera at my home for content creation and live streaming. I had to figure out how to get it onto my phones hotspot/tether for when I'm not at home but it didn't take very long to figure out. Aside from not having presets for "home" and "mobile" setups, there is a way to export the configuration file and you can simply upload the file you need for the circumstances you're using it with. (I have a home and a mobile configuration)I have multiple NP-F970 batteries but the battery life is good. It's probably around 5-6 hours on one battery.The thing works great and it's not very expensive so I'm very happy with the purchase.

Do not trust this product. I bought the product and i had a lot connectivity issues. Someone from china had to remotely take over my PC to configure it yet i still had problems. Its not user friendly. You buy at your own risk

The URayCoder Wireless HDMI encoder has been invaluable to my business. Gave it a rare 5 Stars, had a question, sent an email, got a fast response with the answer I needed. Truly easy setup, even for this non-coder. Great Manuals. 1. Quick Start, 2. Detailed User. My company needed a way to pipe HD 1920x1080 LIVE to our subs across the net. Worked like a charm, No timing delays between audio and video, Clean output, what goes in, goes out! Used it again for an outdoor presentation, flawless! Setup Wi-Fi on box, used Sony NP-F750 batteries to power URayCoder and Camera, locked on to Wi-Fi signal 300' away, again 1920x1080 clean. Now that's wireless! Love the built in Shoe Mount, locked stable on top of my camera. Going to purchase more units for other sites to use.

Update. They release a new firmware version 3.37W5. It fixed the rtmps problems. I am giving this 4.5 stars. My only complain now is that it doesn't have a power switch so you can turn it off instead of removing the battery. Other than that this cheap encoder works really good.----Original Review----If you are using rtmps for facebook live. Please do know, that it is not working correctly as of today (July 15, 2019). You will be able to connect, but you will get a low bitrate and low framerate. They have not released a fix for it yet. I was so excited to try this out, but found out the hard way that rtmps is not working right. Other than that, the encoder is okay.I just want to add that their customer service is top notch. They have contacted me that they are working on fixing this rtmps issue. I will let you know when they release this fix.

I used this encoder along with a URayCoder decoder and they both functioned great. With the encoder, I tested sending HTTP, M3U8, UDP, and SRT streams. They all worked as expected! I emailed the included support contact and they are very responsive - offering updated firmware if available and sent me a quick start guide for setting up SRT. I also found videos online for setting up SRT on URayCoder that were helpful. You won't find something that functions as well for any better of a price.We are going to use it with a URayDecoder to send/receive live SRT streams from our cameras out in the field to our studio. Just had to know some port forwarding and basic IP Networking. Materials found online and URayCoder support helped with the rest.

Worked great at first but after Adobe Flash ended was never able to reconnect with any computer.

This URay encoder/decoder really works. I am pleased with the quality it streamed on YouTube using my mobile data. I haven't tried it on FaceBook as yet but I am satisfied so far. I had some issues setting up but was well assisted by URay engineer to resolve them. I went into the field the following day with mobile data only and had no problem streaming to Youtube. However I had to disconnect the power to end the stream as there was no power button on the device. I hope this would be added in future production of the device. Overall I am very satisfied and have been given the assurance of URay's continued support should I run into any further issues. I recommend this product to any video streaming enthusiast (on a tight budget) without reservation
