I actually thought I got the wrong product when I opened them. I cut the size I needed and put it against my vent and it didn't even TRY to stick. For a minute I thought it was 3M tape on one side and that I got shipped the wrong thing, but upon inspection of the package it does claim to be magnetic. It wouldn't even hold a nail that I tested out. Touched a screw driver to it, nothing. I would return it, but I've already cut them so I'm guessing I can't. If I could give this 0 stars I would because they are COMPLETELY useless. I supposed I could tape them to the vent, but if I were gonna do that, I could just use cardboard or anything else I had lying around the house. These things are awful.

Use it in my craft room for my dies. Works great. Avery was useless but the vent covers are holding nicely. My one complaint is that Fed Ex was late with the delivery.Sheila

These are very stiff, cheaply made and the magnetic hold is very weak. They easily slide off the vents with a slight push. These are not the flexible heavy duty vent covers I have purchased in the past.

This product arrived on time and seemed as advertised. They were very lightly magnetic and would not stay covering the vents when the heat or air was turned on. This may be the products' nature or I got a bad set. I actually had to go out and buy magnets to hold these magnet coverings to the vents.

I had gotten some of these at Home Depot, and thought these would be the same. They are handy to rechannel either heat or air from the registers to another room or floor. These are magnetic, but you would never know it, as they do not stay on the register. They are too stiff, and not magnetic enough. I have had to go back to Home Depot and buy more of theirs. They are thinner, more magnetic, and actually cling to the register. These I have to put a rock (literally) on in order to keep it on top of the floor register. A total waste of money--DO NOT BUY!

I bought these to use on top of wall/floor heat registers to direct the heat into the room instead of up the drapes. We cut them either in half or thirds and to use on all of our registers. Then after the winter take them off and save for next winter. They stay in place with no problem.

I purchases this product in the hopes that I could route airflow during certain hours to otjer rooms much affected by the sun. Sadly it did not work at all. The package has to be torn appart in order to open it making a return not possible. Secondly the magnetic surface was weak. It did not hold at all. I even replaced vents for non pajnted metal vents and oh guess what it would hold but as soon as ac goes on it flys off! Huge waste of time. Original vents it was tried on were metal but had heavy coat of pait which is why I switched it out to metal vents. At least I have shiny new vents now.

This is supposed to be a 'magnetic' vent covering that attaches to floor and wall vents. The magnetics work ok on the floor vents, but won't hold on the wall vents. The magnetic properties aren't very strong. I would not buy them again.
