**Q: would the 50 watt light up a dartboard 5 10 feet away from board**
A: i think so.it depends what other light is in the room.It sheds a good light across adn 8 ft area

**Q: Why the ideal bulb to use is halogen? isn't it better and more energy efficient to use with led?**
A: Lamp was required as a sewing close work spot light and the provided halogen lamp works perfectly. Not sure what the lighting effect of a LED lamp would be.

**Q: Can anyone provide any details about the length of the cable please ?**
A: approx 1 metre in length.

**Q: Does the lamp coming with equipment to mount the lamp to the wall?**
A: Each comes with fixing accessories to attach the fitting to the wall and an instructions leaflet, they do not come with tools.

I bought this because it has an inline switch, it is white and chrome, small and neat, easy to put up and takes GU10 bulbs.Overall I am pleased with the light apart from the position of the inline switch...it is way too close to the light fitting...length of wire between switch and light fitting is less than 2.5 inch/6cm.I would have expected the switch to be at least 18inches away to make it practical to use. If you are wanting a light fitting where the switch is easy to operate whilst laid in bed then you will need to position lower down the wall unless you have very long arms.At some point I am going to see about getting it altered as there is plenty of cable length to alter it as I do like the other features of it.
