LIXIANGNAN Mini Portable Pocket Fish Rod Pen Aluminum Alloy Fishing Rod Pole Reel Combos

I utilized this product on some professional docks using 12 lb fluorocarbon line and several style baits. The following discoveries were made, mostly concerning the supplied real. (1) real does not cast very well. It will not cast a crank bait, spinner bait or jig. This reel is only made for drop shots right off of a pier. I used a large Rapala Deep Dive crank bait. a 3/4 oz spinner bait and a 3/8 oz jig with and without a trailer. None of these would cast. The reel itself is plastic to include the bail. The reel is does not cast like the reels that it copies. There is no way to prevent the handle from moving during the cast. The rod is very responsive and provides great action to any bait utilized. Overall if you want to just jig fish a dock this set up is just ok for an average fisherman, it should not be utilized by a child or a new beginner.

Fun for a laugh but not really for fishing. The reel is too weak to actually work for more than a perch and have to cast like a fly fishing reel. Still love it and keep it in my vehicle for random fishing spots when traveling.

Not for fishing. Can't cast and the drag does not work on the level wind and is just a little better on the spinning model. They do look cute on my desk and they remind me that I will be out fishing after work. Not even good for little kids, they will never learn to cast, retrieve or catch fish with these novelty items.

Works well frustrating at times but overall a great product

I dislike this product, not to sound like a party pooper, it has a cheap feeling and I thoughted that it has good durability, but that was a mistake. I was testing the durability before I go out to fish and broken the rod, by taking it out to much.
