This kit makes a great gift for a child, boy or girl. I bought it for my two boys, 7 and 8, and I was surprised how much they loved it. First I told them it was for me, they asked me how much it was and then offered to buy it from me with their pocket money. Wow! They never offered to buy anything with their own pocket money. In fact, I think I am living with little Scrooges who never spend their pocket money on anything. But here, they were so impressed, they wanted to buy it.We were thinking for a long time where to put it so that it was visible and finally decided it to put on an old stump in our front yard. We put some sand around and it looks great, like a little magical place.It is really thoughtfully made. It's clear that a lot of love and thinking have been put in this great kit. The little house lights up at night thanks to little LED lights; the little doors opens and there is even a river made of small blue stones.It came nicely packaged and had a booklet inside. On top of everything, it has a very memorable brand that stands out among many other faceless brands: Wild Pixy and a very magical-like logo of a girl.

My 9-year-old daughter and I set this up today, and it is truly a wonderful. whimsical addition to the garden. The fact that the fairy house and the river stones are solar powered and will illuminate at night makes this charming set even more lovely. My daughter had a lot of fun deciding just how she wanted to set everything up, and she's already gone back several times to play with the pixy and to rearrange things. I love how it encourages creative outdoor imagination. And this isn't just for kids--My mother-in-law stopped by for a visit and she couldn't stop raving about how great it looked, especially once she found out that it was solar powered.The set comes thoughtfully packaged in a decorative cardboard box and includes a guidebook with special tips about how to set up and care for the newest addition to your garden. The guidebook concludes with the beginning of a story, which is another great way to encourage that creative imagination. Highly recommended for people of all ages!

I bought this light up fairy house for my children’s butterfly garden that we planted outside their bedroom window. I’m giving it five stars because I’m beyond impressed with the attention to detail and quality of the darling little pieces and precious fairy. However.. as I’m writing this my daughter is telling me that she has never seen it light up.. come to think of it neither have I and it’s still our favorite thing in our garden. I’ll have to address the lighting as it could be a user error. We love it!

I purchased this as a gift for my 6 year old granddaughter. She will love it! It arrived on time and in great condition. The seller, Wild Pixy, evidently went to great lengths to create the cutest and most creative box with a place for every item. When I opened it to inspect it, it has a visual impact of being the cutest and most mesmerizing Fairy Garden! I also purchased an additional Fairy. Thank you Wild Pixy ! I can not wait to give it to my granddaughter!Edit: It's been a couple or three months and my granddaughter adores her Fairy House. Because I thought she might want it in her room, I bought a basket, fake grass, miniature trees and filled the basket with styrofoam (under the fake grass so we could "stick" the trees, mushrooms, in easily.) Also because she has a 10 month old brother I cut out an outline for the house and walkway out of cardboard to use as a base. We filled the cut out sidewalk with the glow in the dark stones and used a clear, glitter glue on top of them, holding them in place so baby brother would not put them in his mouth. We have plenty of stones left for a pond. We then placed her fairy house in front of a window on a low table so the solar panel can charge. It comes on at night...like a "night light" for her! I think this fairy garden will grow so will be getting a larger basket for her next year.

I purchased my fairy home from Amazon on July 16th 2024. It arrived safe and sound and soooo cuuute! I was not expecting the packaging to be so intricate and just the packaging alone felt so special. Unfortunately, it has taken me until this weekend to get my fairy all set up and on display. I am in process of creating a butterfly garden and I thought Vignette(from Carnival Row) would love to live among the Butterflies and pollinators. I am super impressed with this little kit. Thank You for such an awesome product!
