I don't know why the various manufacturers can't standardize the charging plugs - after all, they were able to agree on a standard for USB connectors. Between my wife and I with different phones, different cameras and different tablets, we have at least 4 different charger port configurations and we were resigned to carrying several charging cables on our travels. We used this multiple adapter on a trip last week and it was excellent. We could charge three things at once and didn't have cables all over the place. The retractable cord reel is a great feature that helps keep everything orderly

A good cable shouldn't be less than 1.75 amp when charging. A typical iphone cable that comes with your iphone will put out around 2.25 amp or thereabouts. This thing is pathetic and only put out 0.99a at the very highest with my 5v charger (see photos). It was even worse when I plugged it into a powered hub running off my computer that was putting out 4.38 v or so then I only got a terrible 0.25 amps! I'm regretting I bought this thing.

I put one of these in my car. I like the retracting feature which allows me to have the cord as long or as short as I want. Quality seems good and the tangle-free flat wire is also a nice touch. I used to have a 6 foot cord that was always getting twisted up and in the way, while this product just lets me retract the cord when I don't need it. I can charge multiple items with one cord, which is exactly what I wanted.

The open USB port provided by Nissan in my car will attempt to connect to a device plugged in if the cable data channels are being used. This interrupts my music, and I don't particularly like that. I needed a plug that would not use these connections, and only use power and ground. The retractability means this barely takes any space, but more importantly it doesn't get caught under the seats. It stays plugged in at all time. I am only using one of the two included cables, as the other has a large antiquated port of unknown purpose. The cable is still new, so durability will affect this review only if it fails or falls apart prematurely. I do not use this for any of my devices, it is only for normal (aka not ride sharing) passengers.

The concept of having different plugs is great, however for this particular product the ends are too short and it's cumbersome to connect more than two items at the same time, the other drawback is the very slow charging, when I say slow means that I believe they didn't work at all, I suggest to look else where for a similar item.

I have had bad fortune with usb charging cables from Amazon. I got these a while ago and wanted to be sure they were good over a period of time before I reviewed them. I am happy to report they work as advertised. I have numerous devices, all requiring different adapters. To be able to accommodate them all in a single unit is the way to go. Can charge more than one device at a time too! The retractable cable is the icing on the cake. I’m so glad I have these. I highly recommend these and hope this has been helpful. Happy shopping!

Update: they no longer work even for charging. I wasn't careful when I bought these -- I assumed anyone selling this type of accessory would support charging and data transfer (why would you want to carry two cables and try and remember which was which). When I went to post my review , The information is there but it should have been in capital letters. Most users of Lightning, USB-C, or USB-micro will probably want to transfer data as well as charge.

Best chargers ever. Very durable and convenient. I bought 6 of them! I put in purse, car, give to family. All over the house in every room. Super convenient and tidy.
