These acrylic light risers are exactly what I was looking for. Well made, crystal clear, easy to install, very nice looking, as pictured. I saw several reviews complaining that they were scratched, dull, or had writing on them. Acrylic products are cut with the protective film in place and shipped with the film on so that they don't scratch in production or transport. Once you receive the product, you have to peel the thin layer of protective film off both sides of the acrylic. Then it will be shiny and crystal clear as pictured. The listing for the product should make this more clear or instructions should come in the box so people know that the film needs to be removed. I am very pleased with what I received and it worked perfectly on my rimless tank with my Fluval Plant 3.0 light.

UPDATE, 26 Mar 2023…see photo, fell apart. Can’t trust this now as it fell apart and the light fell in the aquarium. Thankfully we were sitting in the living room and were able to get the light out before a serious issue occurred. DO NOT RECOMMEND!Terrible description as it doesn’t say only one of the stands are in the box. Would be a good price if there were two. Why in the world would they only include one when two are required?? We are limited to our options so I will order another one and deal with it but would definitely go another direction if you can.

They have a 2 pack. This page is for one side. A little buyer beware.Now that I have 2. Doesn't truly work on a rimmed tank. You'll need to modify it in this situation or look for another solution. Only one quality control flaw, but it doesn't hurt the functionality. The screw holes on one of the risers is slightly angled. I like the height. Well pieced together. Perfect out of the box for a rimless tank.

The manufacturer of this product should take a few seconds and buff the plastic on a polishing wheel. I'm pretty disappointed that I'm adding such an unrefined looking item to my $1000 aquascape tank. Also, only selling one at a time is pretty silly.UPDATE NOVEMBER 2022: There is a clear plastic film on the supports that is difficult to peel off. After a few months on my tank, one of them started to peel on its own. I removed the film from both supports and they look perfectly clear. I've updated my review from 3 stars to 5. They look great and work great.

This only comes with a single bracket. This should be clearly stated in the title. Deceiving.

Ok aside from the fact they don't come in pairs. Order 2! That being said, maybe a little spendy. Those who left negative reviews for scratched acrylic aren't savvy enough to know you have to remove the protective film. Lol. They are bright and shiny and crystal clear. They are sturdy, they hold my light up and look great. Trying to figure out why they'd be sold in singles... everyone I know has two sides to their aquarium light 😏

So the product is as pictured acrylic and a nice light riser. Slight problem…….there’s only one! Genius guys! I now have a riser for ONE side of my light. There is one field where this garbage listing shows qty of 1. So maybe “my bad,” but this is a common sense thing, sell me two or fix your garbage listing! I’m returning upon principle

Just thought I'd share. Ive been looking for some mounting solution for my 24" fluval 3.0 light and this rimless tank. When it rests on the tank, the light spread doesn't cover all of the tank. Tried adding foam and other stuff but it still wasn't ideal.Found these on Amazon and I'm pretty happy with them after one day of us. They're acrylic and look pretty clean. I paid 11.49 for each (you have to buy two, they're sold individually). Seem pretty solidly built and came with clear screws (the Amazon listing showed black ones).
